The Eighth Hero

Chapter 15

It's always funny to see what kind of excuses I can make to not make a chapter, instead of looking lazy. "I was on spring break" or "I'm sad" or my most recent one. "I have homework"......... I haven't even started it yet -_-

Maxes pov

I've been talking to Stacy for what feels like hours now, totally oblivious to where we were going. It's just so cool that I get to see my idol in real life and not in stories. She's just so calm and collected, yet so awesome. I've always aimed to be like that, though I can sometimes be pretty........easily angered. Guess I'll have to work on it.

Stacy stops abruptly, smiling. "We're here" she said, pointing to a small cabin in front of us. Aphmau ran up next to me, looking very confused. "Why do you guys have a place you live if you're dead" she asked. Tiffany ran up next to her and smiled. "Well, we're just using it for now. It's abandoned so why not" I turned my head to her. "So you broke in" I stated. She nervously giggled. "That's a felony" I said glaring at her. Before I could scorn her for disobeying the rules when she should have been enforcing them, since she's one of the eight past heros, she ran toward the double doors, opened them, and ran full speed ahead.

"Hey" I yelled, sprinting after her. I didn't make it very far until Stacy tripped me with her foot. "I wouldn't do that if I were you" she said, looking like she was hiding something. I dusted myself of and looked at her. "Why" I asked. She giggled, which was in a way sort of cute, and sort of scary. "Watch Sky". I turned to see Sky running toward the doors, yelling " Wait for us!" As soon as his foot hit the ground on the other side of those doors, he got hit with a flash of orange and white, instantly flying to the other side of the house.

"Sky!" Aphmau yelled, running to pull the orange thing of. I started running too, but soon realized Stacy was perfectly calm. "What's wrong with you. Do something" I yelled at her. She just raised an eyebrow. "What did I say?" I sighed and walked back over to her. Then I heard a gasp behind me. Aphmau had lifted the thing off of Sky and was staring at it.

"....I-it's....a" Aphmau stuttered. "A what!?" I yelled. Her surprised expression turned to joy. "A KITTY!" She yelled, giving it one of her bear hugs. "God dammit aph" I mumbled. Stacy seemed to be still waiting for something. I turned to look at the cat. It staring at Aphmau and it's mouth was moving sort of like it was..... saying something? Aph stared at it for awhile, then screamed.

"IT'S TALKING TO ME!"
