Grief is like the ocean, it comes in waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it's overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim. -Vicki Harrison

Eden's Pov

"Kevin?" I whispered.

He turned and my eyes widened. It was him. But why was he here? He murdered students from this school and he's at the reunion? He's definitely playing some sort of game.

Next thing I knew guys were practically launching themselves at Kevin.

Finn and two other guys broke the fight up.

Finn pushed Kevin against the wall. "What the hell are you doing here?" His words spitting out like venom. I've never seen him this angry, ever.

"What do you think? It's a reunion. I came to see all my..." He looked around the crowd. "Friends." He smirked.

Finns fist collided with Kevin's jaw, sending him to the ground.

Finn kept hitting Kevin before I stepped in."Finn stop! Please!" I pleaded.

I was able to push Finn away from Kevin.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled.

"What the hell is wrong with me?! Are you freaking kidding me Eden?!" He was being held back by some guys.

I turned to help Kevin. He groaned as I helped him up and walked him out of the building.

He pulled away from me and leaned against the wall.

I didn't say a word, for I couldn't think of anything that would be good enough to say in this moment.

He pulled a black handkerchief out of his back pocket, and used it to wipe the blood that was dripping from his nose.

"So you gonna say anything or what?" He asked looking up at me.

"You've changed Eden." He got up and walked towards me. "But your still beautiful." He whispered leaning down.

"I'm married." I blurted out.

He stopped immediately. He lifted my chin, making me look him in the eyes.

He sighed before backing away from me and scoffed.

"So who's the lucky guy?" I looked up from the ground.

"Finn..." He laughed. When he realized I wasn't laughing, he stopped.

"Your joking right?" I shook my head.

"We've been married for six years now." He nodded. "Wow! Well, have a nice life, Eden." He walked off.

He got into a black SUV and left.

Finn pushed open the door. He shoved my coat into my arms. "We're leaving." He said brushing past me to get to the car. This should be interesting.
