The Day I Saw Her

Four years later
Tails's POV
Sonic, Knuckles, and I were at Sonic's house thinking of anything to do. It was really boring. We had nothing to do! Even going to school would be fun more to them, especially me, though I didn't really have a chance to stay in school, not that I needed it though, and the girls my age here are pretty hot anyway. Down side though, their in Hell so they're also all skanks. I really wish I could meet a girl who didn't just want me for sex or to say they're in a relationship. I want a girl who loves me for my personality and I would love her for her personality. But it's likely never gonna happen.

"I got it!" Knuckles shouted. Breaking me out of my trance.

"Got what? And what is it?" Said Sonic.

"I got an idea to go do something other than sit here for the rest of eternity. We could go to the surface! You know see what's changed in the past few years." Knuckles stated. Now that he got me thinking about it, it would be pretty cool to see what's changed since we were last up there.

"Um...that would be fun, just one problem though." Sonic said.

"What?" I asked. How could there possibly be a problem.

"Dude the last time I was one the surface I killed you and brought you down here, I don't want to hurt someone again." Sonic said sadly.

"Yea but that it hasn't happened in years, it likely won't happen again." Knuckles said.

"Well...I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a try." Sonic said cracking a small smile. Knuckles and I did a small cheer when Sonic said seriously. "But if there are any signs that I might lose control I'm coming back."

Knuckles and I nodded our heads and we all made our way to the surface. Many people don't know about the way up, but since we were technically good guys and we couldn't go up to heaven we can come up to the surface whenever we want. We just never did in fear that Sonic would lose control.We made it up and quickly ran into the shadows.

"Alright so what should we checkout first?" I asked.

"Why not go see what Silver's up to. He was always really mysterious when it came to the future. It'd be cool to see what happened to him." Sonic suggested.

"Let's do it!" Knuckles said.

We made our way through the shadows till we found Silver. He was at the park with a girl we've never seen before. She was a cat with purple fur and a purple outfit. She seemed to be on a date with Silver though.

"I love you Silver," the girl said.

"I love you too Blaze," Silver said. Wow Silver got a girlfriend! After that they continued walking.

"Wow Silver is in the romance game! Never would have guessed!" Said Knuckles.

"I'm proud of him! He found someone who loves him and that he loves back," I said. Honestly if I ever got in a relationship I would want to be like them, they love each other and that's what matters.

We started walking around to see what changed, but as we were walking there was a loud 'bang' from a block away. We ran over to where the 'bang' came from and saw it was Dr.Eggman.

"Wow Eggface is still trying to take over?" Said Sonic.

"Yea but if he still is and we're not here then who's been stopping him?" I asked. After I said that three people came in front of Dr.Eggman.

"Hey Egghead, tell you what if you leave right now we won't beat you," said the girl in front. She was a hedgehog, she had red shoes and a red dress, she was also carrying a big hammer.

"Amy Rose, how awful it is to see you. But if you think you'll beat me then you'll have to try!" Said Eggman.

The girl turned to the other girls behind her though I couldn't see their faces. "Well can't say I didn't warn him." The girl who I think is Amy said.

The Amy girl ran up to the biggest robot and started hitting it with the hammer she had. She was jumping around and hitting every robot in sight. Whenever one came near her she would swing at them sending them a few feet back and damage them badly.

The three girls charged after Eggman. And that's when I got a clear view of another girl. She was a white bat. She had on a black leotard that shaped into a heart and white boots. She was flying over Eggman doing extremely powerful spin kicks destroying most of the robots with one blow.

I tried to find the other girl but she was also flying, she was to far up to see many features of but I could tell she had fur that was a cream like color. She seemed like she was trying to use air attacks. Like she would be so far up that the robots never though of her as a threat so when she swooped down she was able to destroy them in one hit.

The battle ended after about five minutes. With all of the robots destroyed and an angry Dr.Eggman.

"Grrr I'll get you next time!" Eggman said as he flew away.

"Sure you will egghead!" Amy called after him. "Nice job with your spin kicks Rouge."

"Thanks Amy, I've been working on them a lot and it seems to have paid off." Said Rouge. As she finished talking the last girl came down.

She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. She was a rabbit. She had long brown hair and two really long ears. She was wearing a red dress somewhat similar to Amy's but different.

"Those air attacks were amazing too Cream!" Amy said.

"Thanks I wanted to see how my surprise attacks would work on the robots and it worked like a charm!" Cream said.

I heard Sonic making weird noises and when I turned around to be sure he was okay I realized he was losing control. I was about to calm him down and get us back underground when Sonic dashed towards the girls.
