"If you want my future, forget my past !" I sing loudly. Zachariah bangs on the wall from his room in annoyance with me and I smirk singing louder. "IF YOU WANNA GET WITH ME, BETTER MAKE IT FAST!" I love the song wannabe by spice girls, it's amazing honestly.
My door bangs open and Zachariah glares at me with a whole lot of annoyance, he's livid. "Lena," he growls.
"Hey Zach!" I exclaim acting all innocent when I'm indeed not. He huffs rolling his eyes at me, "getting ready for the ball?" I ask.
"No, I was sleeping dimwit!" He angrily shouts, I grin.
"Oh okay." He looks at me in disbelief so I just start singing all over again, he groans and backs out muttering, "I'm not dealing with this sh*t."
I smirk as he walks out and I sigh checking the time, it's 1:00 and he was sleeping. No wonder why he's a vampire.... Shaking my head I walk out of my room and down stairs. Mum is doing some paperwork to notice that I'm in the kitchen rummaging through food. "Are you getting ready for the ball soon?" She asks, okay so she wasn't completely engaged into her paperwork.
"I'll be getting ready when Bryn comes over. It won't take that long anyway, it onto starts at 6 so I have three hours mum." She holds her hands up in defence and stands up walking to the living room, she comes back a moment later holding a black dress. Gasping I jump up and down in excitement.
"OH MY GOD! Thank you so much!" I hug her and she chuckles patting my back as her sign of affection. Don't get me wrong I'm not really girly but this is a really beautiful dress.
"You're welcome," she replies, I kiss her on the cheek then run up the stairs. Maybe because I'm human I won't get a mate....
"SHUT THE HELL UP LENA!" Zachariah screams, I freeze for a second and roll my eyes... someone's in a mood. I stomp to my room and drop my dress on the bed and then walk back out to Zach's room, I slam open the door and he jumps. I scream in surprise and horror at what I see.
"ARE YOU MASTURBATING!" He scrambles up and makes sure to cover his lap with the blankets. He looks away embarrassed and then scowls once he has the courage to look at me again.
"CAN'T YOU KNOCK LENA!" He shouts at me. My mouth opens and closes in complete shock. I just walked in on my brother masturbating! Dad walks in the room and raises an eyebrow at the two of us.
"Can you two calm down?" He uses hand movements to express what he means. "What's happened?" He sighs running a hand through his black hair.
Zachariah and I both look at each other awkwardly, "nothing!" We both say at the same time. He looks at us suspiciously and starts to back out before he stops and smells the air, he chuckles shaking his head and I really think that he knows what happened. It's like he's psychic. He walks out after that and I soon follow in an awkward silence.
After a couple of minutes just staring at my dress the door opens and Bryn walks in holding her dress which I can see is red. She smiles at me and claps her hands together, "I'm so pumped!" She exclaims. "Now let's get cracking," she winks and pushes me towards my ensuite, I make sure to bring a backless bra and underwear. Quickly, I have a shower making sure to wash myself and shave and then I get out drying my self and brushing my hair.
