For a second we held back our emotions with a bit of fear I looked through the peephole and with relief saw Mandy's boyfriend Ross standing outside the door. With a swift sigh I opened the door and he giggled and said "Did I give you a fright", I said with a sarcastic grin "No not really we were expecting you". Mandy said you stupid fool you scared me and they both started like Tom and jerry started chasing each other like two overgrown kids. As we settled down, the three of us sat the rest of the night and talked for hours. Ross was a funny character, as he joked and irritated Mandy quite a lot. I saw a sort of different love I most longed for. They both bickered and fought with each in the most annoying yet childishly sweet way possible though I saw the love between the two of them. Ross caught me staring and as he held Mandy in his arms he told me "One day you too will have this and then we all will have a sleepover with your boyfriend there and you too will be as happy as we are". With a sigh I nodded my head and said hopefully one day I will find my Prince Charming.
As the night grew to day we said our good nights and headed to bed as we needed to wake up early that morning. Ross then left for work as he had a night shift and at around 5am I fell asleep on the couch. At 7:30 I was awoken by my mom a little cranky due to the lack of sleep and so I told everyone was going to carry my pillow so I could sleep on the car ride there. As we all hurried to pack our bags, dress up and load the car. After that we were off ,aunt Viola accompanied us in the car and then we all were headed to our desert paradise.
My aunt, worked as a nanny to two American boys so she told Mandy all the goofy things they would do and how funny they would behave. They were quite the characters, their father was a stern man due to the fact that he was once the president's bodyguard so wherever they were naughty he would give then a smacking on their bottoms. The next day they would enact it to my aunt on how they cried and held back their fear in the most hilarious way a child could explain to one. In the midst of all these talks I never got a wink of sleep so I told mom that as soon as we reach I was going to go for a nap after breakfast. Little did I know that I wasn't going to get to sleep for a while. As our car pulled over and we parked between the tents, I picked my pillow in between my arms and was all and ready to get a good nights sleep as soon as we got out of the car. In the moment as I opened the car door and put my step on the warm sand with my feet, there was a vision of Adonis, the Greek God that walked across the car. As I starred carefully, I turned to Mandy and with a flirtatious smile told her "I hope he is in the tent next to us" and I giggled and closed the car door. Mandy
with a smirk on her face, winked at me saying "I hope so". We all unloaded the car and as i entered the tent i said hi to everyone there. Then as i turned to my left, my mom introduced me to someone new though I had met her before at church, we never personally talked. She said this is Aunty Judy, I graciously said hello and said it's nice to finally meet you and then my mom said wait I got someone else for you to meet. And then I looked over my shoulder .......
