Alone (An Adnan Januzaj fan fiction)

Chapter 2

"Jen, it's time to wake up sleepyhead." Adnan softly shook my shoulders and removed the hair from my face. I moaned at him then shoved a pillow in his face. His soft laugh sent a wave of happiness through me.

"Come on Robin will be there." I woke up a little bit but not from his statement but that morning voice.

"Since when did you use my crush to persuade me to go." I sat up avoiding looking in the mirror then rubbed my eyes. 

"Since it seems to be in the one of the only things that wakes you up!" He threw the pillow back at me. I pushed myself up then went into the bathroom.

20 minutes later and I was ready wearing skinny jeans a red top and a brown short jacket. My dark brown hair was just brushed. The clothes complimented my skin tone-a naturally tanned complection. 

"You look nice." He kissed the side of my hair and I knew he was smelling it too. 

"Wish I could say the same about you." I joked smiling at him.

"Cheeky." He whispered.

The car ride to the stadium consisted of me singing along to the radio and Adnan laughing at me. It was one of the moments I would want to remember. 

We passed through the security and I took my seat while Adnan went to join the other boys. I took a seat watching from the stands. When they did drills I tended to go on my phone or do some work. Since I had little homework I just went on my phone. 

Through The 1975 playing through my ears I could just make out the shouts from the men below. Suddenly the penalties started. Adnan scored a few but he also lost a few. 

I raced down the seats to reach him on the pitch. Adnan grinned as I ran towards him. Before I could reach him somebody stepped in my way. It was Robin.

"Hey Jen it's nice to see you down here." He flashed me a smile. He was quite a bit older than me but he was gorgeous and was my ultimate crush when I was younger. 

"You played well Robin, I'm starting to think my skills seem to be rubbing off on you." I winked trying to keep my calm. Everytime it's like a directioner meeting One Direction. 

His laugh was contagious and spread through me like wildfire. 

"What's happening here then?" Adnan asked trying to sound cheerful but I heard the jealously in his voice.

"Me and Jenny were just having a bit of fun." Robin came up to me and wrapped his arm around me. I saw the fire in Adnan's eyes and I felt Robin's heart beat against my chest. 

"I think me and Jenny were just gonna play around with the ball if you don't mind. " He stepped towards us and Robin loosened his grip. 

"Yeah that's fine." He let go of me and stepped back. It was like animals choosing their pray. Adnan came towards me and kissed me passionately on the mouth. It wasn't the usual type of kiss we share. Adnan turned and smirked at Robin who turned around and walked away.

"I hate it when you do that." I told him as we walked towards the goal. I loosened my grip on his hand letting it drop to his side as I walked ahead. 

"Do what?" He jogged to catch up to me.

"You know what." I was angry.

"I'm sorry it's just I know you find him 'fit' and he seems to get quite close to you and I want him to know you're my girl and only mine." He spun me around so our foreheads touched. "Now do I get a kiss?"

I went on my tiptoes and kiss him sweetly then went over to the ball. 

We played around for a while laughing and screaming as we did. It was safe to say I was better than Adnan...in my fantasy.

The phone in my pocket vibrated and replayed my mayday parade theme tune. 

"Sorry I'll catch up with you in a minute." I kissed his cheek as he went ahead.

"Hello."

"Hey Jenny it's Robin."

"Hiya."

"So I was wondering if you and Adnan wanted to come out tonight just clubbing and stuff." He sounded nervous.

"Erm yeah sure I think that should be okay I'll just check with Adnan later." I replied trying to sound normal.

"Of course text me when you can." 

This was strange, Robin never invited me on nights outs it was always someone else. 

I wonder how Adnan will take it.
