It was an hour later and nearly all the boys were drunk. Me and Abby however were drunk on controlling the lads. They were all over the place, some angry, some happy and some extremely flirty. Buttner especially, I let Abby have him.
"Abby you're so pretty let me date you." His words were slurred as me and Abby lugged him to a seat. I giggled while Abby gave me pleading eyes. I didn't know how they would get home, if they managed to get that far.
"Abby don't listen to the team I'm an amazing player I can love you." I started to giggle less. Isn't it when you're drunk the truth comes out?
"Come on sweetie get some rest." Abby cooed to him then rested his head on her lap. I called for his mate to pick him up.
"Abby can you manage while I find some of the rest of them?" She nodded then turned her attention to the man sleeping in her lap. A lullaby escaped her lips.
I swept the dancefloor trying to pinpoint a few players. Soem of them weren't that drunk so i didn't need to help them with anything. I couldn't find Adnan. In the distance I could see Robin looking as drunk as Buttner maybe even more so.
I squished past the hundreds of other people in the club trying to get minimal contact with all their sweaty bodies.
"Robin!" My shouted heard like a whisper behind the loud blaring noise. He still heard me.
"Jenny!! You came for me then." He was very close to me and I could smell the alcohol on his breath. I tried to lean backwards but there was no space. He drunkly tried to wrap his arm round my waist then leaned in to kiss me. It was soft and hungry, he was a good kisser but not nearly enough as Adnan. I tried to prise myself off him and push him back but it just wasn't working. He was way too strong. I kept kicking and pushing then I heard a shout.
"What are you doing with Jenny?!" Adnan's voice was thick with anger he was squeezing the glass in his hand so tight his knuckles turned white.
"Me and Jenny were kissing, what's it look like?" He was gonna regret this in the morning. In fact it looked like he was gonna regret it now. Adnan lunged at him only to be stopped by the crowd of people on betweeen them. I had to step in.
"Adnan you need to calm down." I pressed my hand against my chest signaling for him to back down and turn away. He pushed me out the way. Hard. I sailed through the air then landed rougly against the side of the bar. The world was blurred like I was drunk, my hands went to my head then I saw the deep red blood on my fingertips.
It wasn't too deep but would leave a nasty mark on the corner of my forehead. I don't think it's enough to go to hospital. I always do this, evaluate my situation. I didn't know what was going on but I heard shouting.
"She's hurt! Stop arguing and help me!" I heard Abby's voice then her high heels clattering towards me. Then I blacked out.
***************************************
My head throbbed angrily as I awoke from my slumber. I didn't want to open my eyes and face the pain of the morning. Wait, I didn't get drunk so why does my head hurt so much? Oh I remember now. I peeled my eyes open.
"Hey Jen." I reconigsed Abby's voice and tone. She placed a coffee on the table. "Go get ready and then I'll tell you what happened."
When I came out of the bathroom, Abby was sitting watching reruns of the big bang theory and laughing her head off. She always referred to me as Penny and her as Bernadette.
"Hey sexy." I winked as I got some orange juice out of the fridge.
"Oi oi oi look who's looking better, how you feeling? Nasty cut you got there." She eyed the top of my forehead.
"My head kills but it looks worse than it is." I lied. It hurt just how bad it looked. "What happned last night?"
"Well Robin and Adnan were fighting verbally when you were still concious then you blacked out. I tried to get one of them to help but they started hitting eachother. I think they both have a few bruises from it. Some guy helped me get you out and into the car. He was a nurse and said you wouldn't need to go to hospital. I got his number too." She help up a piece of paper.
"Get in there! Do you know where Adnan is?" I asked trying to mask my worrying.
"He's been outside for 2 hours trying to come in." She went back to the television.
I fiddled with my fingers, should I forgive him?
"I think you should talk to him but that doesn't mean you should forgive him." She answered my question without me saying anything out loud.
I raced down the small set of stairs. Her parent's had brought her this small house because they were rich. She's offered to move me in but i think she likes her alone time.
I heard the banging from the front door then readied myself to see him. I wish make up would cover up the cut more.
I opened the door.
He swore.
I'm such a poet.
"Nice to see you too." I leant against the door.
"Jenny I'm so sorry about the cut I didn't mean to do anything I just got so angry!" I noticed he had a cut lip.
"You should have helped me." I needed to teach him a lesson.
"I know and I'm sorry but I didn't know you were so badly hurt and I know that wasn't an excuse."
"Is Robin hurt?" I'm gonna push his buttons.
"I broke his nose." He looked down.
"That's my boy." He looked up and smiled when he saw my grin. "Do you want to come in?"
"If that's okay." I nodded then grabbed his hand, leading him upstairs.
"Hi Adnan." Abby said without facing him.
"Hey." He replied awkwadly. "Look I'm sorry i understand if yo-"
I kissed him straight on the lips.
"Eugh get a room." Abby scoffed.
"Does this mean I'm forgiven?" Adnan smirked.
