"No!" Adnan shouted making me cower a little.
"Why not?" I asked trying to show a fair fight.
"Ever since him and his wife broke up, he'sbeen all over you and I'm not risking it with both of you drinking." He stormed ahead hoping the fight would end.
"You know what I'm going even if you don't come with me!" I hissed swiveling on my heel traveling in the other direction.
I strolled down the street, the rain pounding down like a stick on a drum. I had no hood and my hair was dripping.
'Great.' I muttered aloud, kicking a nearby pebble as I did so. I could go to either one of my best friends house but it would feel like I'm taking advantage of them. I wish I could go to my mum and dad's house but they ive in Derby and that's ages away from Manchester. That's it I'm gonna have to go to Abbys. I took the long strech and finally arrived at her little flat.
"I don't see why he can't just come out with you." Abby expressed her opinion while she curled my hair.
"I don't feel like going out." I replied feeling depressed.
"You are going out! You need to prove a point to your man!" Abby stressed pulling a bit harder on my hair. My phone buzzed in my pocket for the 17th time.
"Is that him?" Abby asked finishing my curly hair.
"Yep." I didn't bother to check my phone anymore.
"Jen do you like Robin?" We both paused.
"We're just friends. I love Adnan you know that." I hastily replied. The silence in the room was thick.
"Are you sure this is the club? It seems a bit expensive?" Abby asked as she drove me in her old but reliable mini.
"Abby remember these are footballers money doesn't matter." I joked watching the passing specators get high in the city lights.
"Are you sure I can come I don't want to intrude." She fiddled with her blonde locks as her green eyes focused on parking in the space ahead.
"Robin said it's fine so enjoy yourself!" I was glad she was with me I didn't want it to be awkward.
We parked up and risked the cold air. It was like little needles all over my body. We both hurried quickly to the club entrance recieving wolf whistles from drunk men. In our friendship I recieved the most male attention. Even the boy she liked, liked me.
"Jenny Hopewell and Abby Denamen." I glanced at the huge buffy mans list praying our names were there.
"Go right in." His husky voice was like voldermort smoking too many cigarettes.
The air was hot and thick. Sweat poured off hormanal teenagers as they danced to the lastest sex song. I didn't like that kind of music.
A man was coming towards me causing me to panic a little. It was only Buttner.
"Oh hoy Jenny you're here! Come on we're sitting over here." I smiled at Abby then followed him. I thought him and Buttner would make a good couple but she was all hung up on somone else.
We quickly arrived at the table, I saw many footballers from the team. All of them with some concoixion in their hands. Abby took the nearest seat and I went to sit down but was abuptly stopped.
"I'm glad you could come." Robin stepped towards me closing the gaps. It felt a bit uncomfortable.
"Thanks for inviting me." I ganced up and smiled leaning back slightly, icreasing the distance between our faces. It suddenly got very tense. He started to wrap his hands round my waist and he was leaning in.
"Adnan!" I heard the excited shout like a boy with his toys. I turned my head and ushered myself back from the loosening grip of the brown-haired man in front of me.
Adns looked amazing and sexy. He had a checked shirt and black skinny jeans with red vans. I was attracted to his teenage look and he knew it. He could see me checking him out with a longing expression on my face. Did he see how close we were?
