~Skyler's POV~

"Well, I had to preform a genetic spell on Sabina. She is a vampire because she is Vladimir's daughter, but Hailey's mother is not Sabina's mother. Sabina was born from a different vampire mother. She is technically Hailey's half sister," Alli said.

"Wait," Brax said, "If she is full vampire, then why did Sabina say that she was a wolf?"

"She is a liar." Alli said.

"What does she want?" I asked.

"She doesn't want anything. He wants Hailey's baby," Alli said.

"He?" I asked.

"Vladimir, he wants the baby," Alli said.

"WHY?!" I asked. I started freaking out.

"The baby is the chosen," Alli said.

"What is the chosen?" I asked.

"Every 100 years, a baby of a hybrid is the chosen. This is the first one ever because there has never in history been a baby with a hybrid parent. The baby has unlimited power and is immortal. Which means it is a weapon of mass destruction," Alli added.

"You are saying this like it is a gun or something, just remember, we are talking about a baby. A human being," Tyler said.

"I know, but almost every supernatural will do anything in their power to get to the baby," Alli said.

"Wait, how do you know that the baby is the chosen?" Brax asked.

"Because I could feel the power. When I was doing to generic spell, I could feel the power," Alli said.

"Oh, when will they come?" Tyler asked.

"Anytime, but most likely a month before the baby is due. They will try to kidnap Hailey and take them both," Alli said.

"How long do a hybrid pregnancy last?" Tyler asked.

"3 months," Alex said.

"So we have to protect her," I said.

"Yeah, and I will do everything in my power to protect her," Alli said.

"Why do you care so much?" Alex asked.

"Because I'm not crazy about the supernatural race, and if this baby gets into the wrong hands, it can be the end of supernaturals...Including me," she said.

"Hey," a small voice said. It was Hailey, she was walking down the stairs.

"Hey," I said. I walked over to her and wrapped my arm around her waist.

"Hey baby," I whispered in her ear. She giggled and we walked into the living room.

I sat down and she sat on my lap. I wrapped my arms around her stomach and kissed her neck.

"What about the war?" she asked.

"Oh," I said,"

"It is in about a month, the wolves pushed it back. It was scheduled for next week," Alli said.

"Oh," Hailey said, "I will be ready then."

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Um, I'm going to fight," she said in a duh tone.

"Um, no your not," I said.

"And why not?" she asked.

"Because you are pregnant," I said.\

"And?" she asked.

"You will be the size of a three month pregnant woman, and I don't want to see you get hurt," I said.

"Oh," she said.

"We should go," I said.

"Go where?" Hailey and Alli said in unison.

"Our new pack," I said proudly.

"We have a new pack?" she asked.

"Yup," I said.

"But I thought I'm a disgrace because I'm a hybrid," she said sadly.

"Little sister, if you are a disgrace, then so am I," Alex laughed.

"Anyways, I talked to the Alpha and he is very excited to have hybrids fighting on his side," I said.

"Wait, FIGHTING?!" Alex practically yelled.

"Yeah the old pack and our new pack are fighting. That is the war apparently," I said.

"Wait, does he know that I'm not fighting?" Hailey asked.

"Yeah and we should really get going," I said.

"Lets go meet our new family," Tyler said.
