Another Mate?

~Hailey's POV~

I can't believe the Alpha killed his two strongest fighters. It hurts me that he wants to get rid of me. I have to move on though, I can't let this...incident... take over my life. I will not be like most people and be depressed the rest of my life. I will try to forget about it. Me and Alex will find somewhere else to go.

We don't know where to go, but we will figure it out. Alex told me that there are all sorts of supernaturals that will be willing to have us. Well he isn't sure, but he names off a bunch of them. Like Angels, Fallen Angels, Dark Angels, Vampires, Archangels, Guardians, Ghosts, Phantoms, Reapers, Demons, etc. The one that stuck out to me is Phantoms. In my opinion, I want to meet one. I have never met one before, but I would like to.

We packed a bag with clothes in it for when we shift. We put on out sunglasses and we walked to the front of the hall. We had to go to a ceremony for leaving the MoonLight pack. Me and Alex walked into the room and ALL eyes on us. I mean all eyes as in the whole entire pack. We walked to the Alpha and stood in front of everyone.

"Everyone, a lot of you may not know what is going on. But Hailey Rose Miles is being banished from the MoonLight pack," Alpha said. There were a lot a whispering.

"You may not know who this is," he said pointing to Alex, "This is Alexander Christopher Miles, the only hybrid in existence. Until this week, Hailey is a hybrid and she is being banished from the pack. We cannot risk anything in the war. I know a lot of you are saying, why isn't she with us for the fight? Well we can't risk them turning on us in the middle of it. They can't be killed and they would turn on us because when Alexander was tortured for 100 years...wolves did that," he said. I looked at Alex and saw his fist clenched. He was getting mad.

"She isn't strong enough to be a friggin' hybrid!" Someone yelled from the crowd.

"Fine lets show them!" Alpha yelled, "Take off your sunglasses and shift!"

I looked at Alex and he shrugged his shoulders. We took our sunglasses off and everyone gasped at our red eyes. We both shifted and there was a bunch of murmuring in the crowd because of our fur and eyes.

"I order you to leave and NEVER come back!" Alpha yelled. I picked up the bag and we started to walk off.

"Follow me," Alex said. He was using a mind link that only I could hear. He started to gain speed and jumped right through the sunshine window. I followed him and all the glass shattered. I could hear a bunch of people screaming and Alpha yelled at them. He ran and then came to a stop. We shifted and then got into out clothes.

"Do you know what war they are talking about?" I asked. Alex nodded. "What war?" I asked.

"The war of werewolves against demons," he said with a smile.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked.

"Because we are joining the demons," he said. I smiled at that.
