Garroth's friend?

~Travis's POV~

Me and Zane were lucky to make it to class before the teacher. I looked over at Zane and it looked like he was about to die. He was trying to catch his breath. He turned around from his seat, and took out his inhaler. He took a deep breath and then breathed out. He looked at me then I looked away quickly.

*Time Skip*
The bell rings and everyone was getting ready for lunch. Me and Zane didn't get our locker number so we had to go to the office. We finally got our locker numbers.
"H-Hey! What's your locker number?" I asked him.
"I have locker number 623." He said.
" Dangit...I have locker number 527."
I was upset because I wanted our lockers to be next to each other's. I know it's only the first day but to be honest...I kinda like this guy. What? Did you think I was straight? And this story will end up as me and Zane becoming friends? Well...maybe it will. I'm being 100% honest but I'm gay. And I know for a fact my father doesn't like that.
We decided to go to our locker and meet up at the lunch tables.

~Zane's POV~
We head over to our lockers. To be honest I was kinda upset we didn't get our lockers next to each other's....eh, it doesn't matter anyways. As i was walking over to my locker I bumped into someone and I fell to the floor. I looked up and see a senior (a boy) with black hair, light blue eyes, and he looked handsome in the uniform...WAIT...he looked very familiar. I remember him from the park when I was walking with my brother Garroth. I saw him with Laurance and the rest of his friends. And then it hit me.
It's Gene! He was with Sasha and Zenix. And no Laurance...I remember when I was still in middle school.

~Flashback~

Me and Garroth past them in the park. They looked at us and I hid behind Garroth. He told me to stay away from them. Gene walked up to us.
"Garroth! Buddy!" Gene called out. He walked up to us.
"Back off...." Garroth said trying to scare Gene off.
"Now now, I just wanted to say hi"
" I said BACK OFF!" Garroth shouted.
Gene looked down at me hiding behind Garroth.
"Who's the little one?" He said.
" He's not important!" Garroth said.
Gene rolled his eyes and kneeled down to look at me.
"I'm not gonna hurt you little dude. I just wanna get to know you."
I slowly started walking towards him.
"Zane! Get away from him!" Garroth shouted. But I just ignored him. I stopped to look up at him.
"So, Zane's the name?" He asked. I nodded. He took his hand out to shake hands with me.
"I'm Gene. Garroth's friend." He said.
"We are NOT FRIENDS." Garroth said with anger.
Gene just ignored him and rolled his eyes. I shook his hand.
"hey Garroth. Is it okay if he stays with me and the gang?" Gene asked.
Surprisingly Garroth said it was ok since Laurance was in it. He trusts Laurance. Garroth left and I stayed with the gang.
