What just happened...

~Still Flashback and Zane's POV~

I sat next to Gene because we left me an empty spot. They were all just looking at me. And then Gene asked a question.
"You planning to go to Phoenix Drop High?" I nodded. I was to scared to speak because I might say something stupid.
"Your gonna love it there." He said "Maybe you could join our gang once your in Highschool one day."
I was surprised and that got me excited for Highschool.
"I'll be right back guys. I'm just gonna go get some water" Laurance said, he then walked away.
When Laurance was gone Sasha and Zenix were laughing quietly. I looked over at Gene and see him looking at my body biting his bottom lip. I had no idea what that meant. I just shrugged it off.

~Back To Highschool~

Gene led his hand out and helped me up. "You ok little freshmen?" He asked. As usual I nodded. "Hey wait a minute...your Zane. Garroth's brother. The one from the park right?" He remembered me!
"Y-yeah! That's me!" I said being excited and all.
"Hehe, cute voice. Expected it to be deeper to be honest."
I was so embarrassed! My voice was high pitched because I was going through puberty. Ugh...this will be a moment to never forget. I looked away.
"Awe, no need to be embarrassed." He said, which made not embarrassed anymore. "Me and the gang are going to the park"
"During school?" I said as my eyes widened.
"Yep! Wanna come?"
"Oh, I'd love to but I can't...I'm meeting up with a friend at the lunch tables."
"Oh...I'll come then!" He said. Sasha and Zenix's eyes widened. Gene turned around and whispered to them. "Go without me, we'll meet up after school."
They nodded and went off.
"Where they going?" I asked
"There going to there class early. Let's go now." We started walking to the lunch tables.

~Travis's POV~
It was taking a while for Zane to get here. Finally he got here with some...friend of his? He looked like a senior.
"Sorry for being late.." he said as he was sitting down on the bench.
"Who's this..." I asked.
"This is Gene! We met at the park when I was still in middle school."
"Hey there buddy. The name's Gene." He held his hand out for a hand shake.
"Travis..." I didn't shake his hand. He just sat next to Zane. I growled...
"??? You ok Travis?.." Zane asked
"Yeah...I just have a headache"
"Ok...." Gene yawned and stretched his arm out and put his arm around Zane. Zane was blushing right res under his mask. I got out from my seat and glared at Gene.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF HIM!" I shouted. Everyone looked at our table.
"Why should I?" He pulled Zane closer to him. I punched him.
"WHY YOU LITTLE!-" Gene shouted and punched me back. I tackled him to the floor and we fought each other. Dante pulled me away and Sasha and Zenix did the same for Gene. I turn around and see Zane frozen from his seat. He quickly packed his stuff and ran to his 3rd period.
"Z-ZANE! WAIT!- UGH!" Why was this happening on the first day!! In Highschool! I just walked away and Dante walked next to me. I was lucky to have him.
I see Zane at his locker getting his history stuff out of his locker.
"Z-Zane!" I walked up to him but he quickly walked away from me.
"Give him some space for now." Dante said. I nodded and head to my 3rd period class which I had with Dante. We both had English.
