Zane's POV
Today's my 21st birthday. I didn't throw a "party" nor did I invite anyone. As long as it's quiet, peaceful, and just normal today, that would be the best birthday of my life.
I sat down at my couch and turned on my favorite show. Im planning to watch all the seasons today if My Little Horsies. Nothing else. Just me, and my show.
*Time Skip*
A few hours already passed. I was getting hungry so I got up and went in the kitchen to make something. But then I heard a knock on the door. I guess Mom wanted to say Happy Birthday to me in person. I opened the door and...that..definitely wasn't Mom..
"Hey! I'm your new neighbor!" That voice..it's so familiar. And he LOOKS familiar. Oh no..please don't tell me it's HIM.
"Uh..yeah..hi" I tried closing the door but then he stopped me.
"..Zane?.." (we all know that it's Travis) Crap. CRAP. Why is HE here! On my BIRTHDAY!?
"Gh! I- uh..I don't know you!" I attempt to close the door again but he opens the door fully open and walks in.
"It really is you! How are you? Are you eating well? How's your-" I stopped him.
"Shut up..SHUT UP! WHY ARE YOU HERE!?"
"What do you mean?.. I moved here! With Garroth, Laurance, and Dante!"
"No! NO! YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE! I NEVER WANTED TO SEE YOUR.. STUPID..DUMB..FACE AGAIN!
He sighed. "You still hate me?" I nodded.
"Oh come on Zane, that was YEARS ago!!"
"I don't care! It happened and I'm not forgiving you for it! Now GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
"Wait! Isn't it your bir-" I pushed him out and slammed my door closed before he could even continue his sentence. Why..WHY NOW!? WHY TODAY!? Why..me. I went upstairs and laid on my bed. Im going to go out later. Maybe just walk around the neighborhood to cool off.
