Author note: Read the description for my new book "Survival of the Fittest" if you haven't already. I'll be starting that Young Justice fanfic very soon, just as a little side project :) but I have a lot of ideas and story arcs for it. Enjoy this chapter!! (Vote if you do).

P.S: I don't know my guns, so just deal with it. ;-;

Gotham Academy
Later That Night

The Dark Knight was currently in the large courtyard of Gotham Academy, searching for clues to Robin's whereabouts. He found out from Gordon that he had been taken by two villains, whom he knew as Sportsmaster and Cheshire. Both were relatives of Artemis, and to say that their appearance at her school is ironic would be an understatement... So far, all that Batman had found was dried pools of blood bullet holes. As he entered the dark school, he noticed skid marks on the floor as well as bullet holes; once again.

He approached a larger hallway, noticing bigger splotches of blood spread across the vast floor. There were small holes in the lockers, and a few crushed cell-phones on the ground. Batman walked towards a group of lockers with many bullet holes, and observed. There were also holes in the ceiling, indicating that the shooter was trying to intimidate the students in the school.

As he studied the scene, he decided that some kind of assault rifle must have been used to shoot quickly, and shoot frequently. Using his tech, he identified the gun as an M16. This could definitely help him... If he found the supplier, he could find the buyer.

        'Here I come.'

An Unknown Location
Two Hours Later

Dick lost track of time. He guessed it was past midnight, at least.

They put him in an empty room; giving him basic necessities. Food, water, clothing, and... Well that's basically it. He got the joy of sleeping on the cold hard ground. The air was musty, and smelled of oil. The room he was in was small, and extremely dirty. There was a rusted iron door blocking his escape route, not that he could escape anyways. Poison was killing him by the minute and he guessed he only had a couple of days until he got the antidote; and the process would be painful. Dick assumed they would blackmail him for league secrets or something. But he would give his life to protect those he cares about, and would never spill information. How could he be so stupid and get caught?

There was a loud twist and a creak, and the thick door opened revealing Cheshire.

"Sorry bird boy, but we need you for business. Could you get your ass off the ground?" Cheshire said, hands on her hips.
Dick, who had his ass on the ground, groaned and stood up shakily. "Yeah whatever. Poison is killing me, I can definitely get up without a problem."
"Would you rather me carry you, like a baby?" Cheshire taunted.
"I don't think that would be a good idea, considering you seem to be pregnant." Dick replied with a smirk.
Cheshire growled. Was it really that obvious? Sure, she had a small lump. But she covered it up mostly with her uniform... This kid really was smart. "Yes, I'm pregnant bird brain. But that won't stop me from slitting your throat."
"That's cute. I don't think Roy would approve of that." The Boy Wonder teased with a laugh, wishing he could see Jade's priceless expression under her mask.

Okay. This kid was very smart. And annoying as hell.

Cheshire then angrily pulled him up, forcing him to stand on his sore feet. She shoved him out of the room, causing him to trip and fall in the hallway. She then rudely stepped over him, kicking him in the side. "Whoops. Sorry, didn't see you there."
Dick rolled his eyes in annoyance. He then attempted to push himself up off the ground, but failed miserably. The villain then picked him up once again, and practically dragged his dead-weight body. After what seemed like eternity, the duo reached a larger room with similar structure to the cell Dick had been in. Sportsmaster was in there, waiting for them.

"What took you so long Jade?!" He shouted, only annoying the female villain.
"Whatever Dad. It's not my fault bird brain is slow." She replied, throwing the boy in an empty chair.

Next the the chair there was a table... With... "Tools"...

That's when Dick began to struggle...
