Ruby ran the heels of her feet barely touching the damped gravel of the dark tunnel. The deeper she ran into the tunnel the faster the darkness over took her. Enveloping around her, quickly shielding any ounce of light. Further behind her big rough furred paws smashed against the gravel.

"Follow her smell! She not to far ahead" Growled the wolf , his loud deep voice echoing against the walls.

Ruby speed accelerated, her cape dragging behind her. She could hear flooding of water just in front of her. She must be close to the end of this never ending tunnel she though.

She came to a halt when the inevitable happened. The musty iron gates stretched from wall to wall, the bars so close together not a single soul could escape, trapping them in to face their fears.

"No! No! No! No! This can't end like this!!" She said as she pulled on the gate, tugging harder each time, there was no use.

"Well look what we have here." Said a scratchy deep voice behind her. She turned around to faces three large furred wolves. "No more running little girl, your coming with us."

One Wolf the smallest step closer to her, nudging her forward and away from the gate. The wolf who had spoken to her just recently much bigger then the other two step up to her.

"You've caused a lot of trouble you know that?" He snapped at her, Ruby's eyes snapped down, as her eyes tried to adjust to the lack of light she noticed a piece of glass right near her foot. "Now follow, and try not to make any more commotion!" He turned his back to her and began walking, the wolf behind her nudged her forward just enough for her to fall and pick up the broken glass. She help her grip on in and stood up following behind the two dark furred wolves in front of her.

As they grew close to the cabin, Ruby's patience grew wary. She slowed her pace down, letting the two wolves in front have distance. She turned to face the smallest of the bunch still gripping onto the broken glass.

"What'd you stop for? Walk, or i'll make you!" One wolf said with threat in his voice. She smirked at his tone.

"Does wolf want to play? Make me!" She snapped back her tone playful, and he did such, he lunged at her raising his paw to her face, but she'd been prepared. With glass in hand she managed to dodge his attempt of hitting her. It was now her turn, Ruby launched herself in full force at the wolf, and dug the glass right into his neck. The wolf's body went limb and he whimpered. Blood on her hands ruby got herself together, just when she left her own body go senseless and drop to the floor, blackness instantly overtaking her.
