*YOUR POV*
As I regain my senses, I feel the touch of a soft and cozy bed that I was enveloped in. I moved my body only to receive shots of pain overwhelming my thoughts. I flutter my eyes open, unable to decrypt where I was. The room was dark, only a small shed of moonlight pierced through the silky curtains. Moonlight? IT'S NIGHTFALL!? Where's mom? Where am I!? As I panicked all the scattered pieces of the puzzle in my brain finally connect. The dog, the alley, that man... What did he do to me? Did he bring me here? Did he kidnap me!? Last I remember is him chanting an incantation and he touched my forehead and then... Then I blacked out. I've got to get out of here! I need to find mom. But first I have to get out of this room... I slowly lift myself, enduring the pain spreading through my body. As I'm up on my feet, I place my weight on the wall and search for the door. As I move close to a corner, I spot a line of light on the floor. It must be the light coming from the other side of the room! I hurry to the light and see the door handle. I turn the knob and gradually open the door. The lights were blinding and the voices surrounding me were too loud for me to understand. My senses are still hyped and I don't know why but I have to stay cautious. I slowly slipped out of the room and closed the door behind me. I was on the second floor of a building. I couldn't see what building exactly since my eyes are still very blurry. I stayed against the wall, barely able to walk. Everyone seemed to be downstairs so I was safe from being spotted right now. I take a deep breath to try and calm my nerves and continue my walk towards the huge stairs. I stop myself from going down. I can't go down there without being sighted, I need to hide myself. I need some sort of disguise to conceal my identity. I see some sort of black cape with fur all around the edges on the top stair handle. I silently wrap it around me, placing the cap on my head. Thankfully it's so big it hides my entire body and face. No one will know it's me.
I start descending the stairs, trying to keep the noise as low as possible and trying to stay in the shadows to not be noticed by anyone. I quickly go down the stairs with ease but a sharp pain starts to form in my head making me a bit dizzy and nauseous. I try my best to keep calm and tell my body to wait until I'm outside. I now stand on the main floor, I look around and see a crowd of blurry faces and ear-piercing voices. In my condition, this much energy is hard to handle, I can barely breathe properly, let alone walk properly. This is going to be a challenge, no doubt about it. I clutch my hands to the silky black cape serving as a shield from the noise and people. I sigh and start to walk into the crowd. I slide through a bunch of people saying "sorry" and "excuse me" so they would move out the way. From where I could tell, I still had half way to go. I breathe in and start walking once more but a conversation being held by three men stop me from going any further. I stay frozen in place, concentrating on their voices."So, did you get any info on the girl?"
"Not a lot, Natsu said he found her unconscious in the streets. That's all I know!"
Did I hear that right? D-did I actually hear that name right...? I turned in their direction to ask if what they spoke of was true but before I could reach them, a soft yet worried voice tops all the others.
"MASTER SHE'S GONE!!!"
Shit, they know, I've got to get out of here! I quicken my pace but another voice breaks the cheerfulness. The voice sounds gruff and very unhappy.
"WHERE THE HELL IS MY JACKET? I LEFT IT ON THE POST ON TOP OF THE STAIRS."
Oh no... I look at the cape and see it's not a cape but a long trench-coat with white and yellow fur. This isn't going to end well if I don't hurry up. I was able to slip through everyone. There was only a few meters left to get to the huge door.
"THERE IT IS!!! MY COAT, SOMEONE'S WEARING MY COAT!!!"
The whole room falls silent and turns their heads towards me with intrigue. I take a step back, frightened of their intense gaze.
