"Happy, this is (Y/n)!"
"Nice to properly meet you." I smile. The flying cat stares into my soul and stays quiet, making me feel uneasy.
"You're really pretty." I blushed from his sweet comment and was about to thank him when I suddenly felt pain throughout my entire body. I held myself against a tree to support my body.
"Hey, are you ok?" Happy asked.
"I'm fine, just a little hurt."
"But you didn't even get hit." Natsu replied.
"I know, which is why I'm wondering why I feel this way..." I said breathlessly.
"I can explain."
"Who said that?" I looked over my shoulder to see the wolf still on the ground, breathing heavily with his mouth wide open.
"You can talk?" I ask.
"Uh, who are you talking to?" Natsu questioned. I shushed him immediately and walked over to the wolf.
"Who are you and what is happening to me?"
"I am your loyal spirit, I've come to serve under your reign." His voice was deep and strong. He talked with great power and felt no fear.
"Serve me?"
"Yes." He gets up and stumbles from his injuries. He winced as I did. We both were in pain that moment, at the same time and on the same area. Natsu and Happy watched me like I was crazy but were amazed by the wolf's determination and strength.
"You're hurt. Let me help you." I responded.
"You're hurting as well."
"Yes, but I can handle it. Wait... How did you know?"
"Because we are linked."
"What!?"
"Remember the ritual you performed last night?"
"Vaguely, bits and pieces."
"Well, the ritual you performed binds us together as one person."
"So... I feel everything you feel and vice versa?"
"You catch on quickly."
"So this is body-link magic!"
"Not quite, we only feel physical pain. Our emotions don't mix in the matter.
"So that's why I feel badly hurt..." He nodded his head.
"You can understand him?" Natsu asked.
"Yeah, can't you?"
"They can not, I have the ability to talk with whomever I wish privately or publicly."
"Like telepathy magic!"
"Precisely." I wanted to ask him more questions but Natsu interrupted.
"Ok, I don't mean to ruin the meeting but we need to get out of here, this place is giving me the creeps."
"Oh, right. Sorry."
