I hear a loud BOOM and a cry of pain. I turn around blocking Ethan and see Wesley at the bottom of the stairs kicking the woman off of him. He manages to get her off of him and starts to run up.

"KEEP GOING HANNA!" Wes yell. I snap out of it and continue to run up the stairs.

We enter the forest and we are run deeper and deeper into it. Not looking back nor taking any breaks, we continue to run. It is so dark, I can barely see Grayson in front of me. To be honest, I cannot see him at all. I know Ethan is right behind me because I can hear him breathing, if it is him breathing.

"Grayson!" I yell trying to get his attention. No response. I pray it is because he rather control his breathing then to respond back to me.

I build the courage to look behind. It is Ethan who is following me, but I don't see Wesley. I stop running and Ethan stops himself a couple of feet ahead of me.

"Grayson and Wesley aren't here," I say to him. "What if the woman is out... what if she is following one of them?"

"Shhhh Han it's okay. We can find them, we are connected to them."

"What if they are both alone Ethan?! She could have found one of-"

"HELP!" A loud scream catches our attention. It was from Grayson. We run towards the scream from where we believe we heard it coming from.

We run into the woman fighting Grayson, claws out, eyes shining, teeth ready to bite. Grayson is brave and courageous but is foolish to what he could get himself into. Grayson looks at Ethan and I getting distracted from his fight. We run in to help him.

Her claws enter Grayson torso and a gasp for air escapes from his mouth. His eyes widen and he looks at the woman. He drops the ground and looks up at him. I run to tackle her as she whips her right arm in the air. I pin her on the ground and take my claws out.

"It's to late deary... he is gone," she says with her bloody smile.

I look back at Grayson. He has craw marks around his throat and his eyes are wide open looking at the night sky.

"...and you're next!" All of a sudden the woman flips me and now she is above me.

I let my eyes shine and my teeth seep through. I let out the loudest roar that an alpha could every make.

"What can that do for you? A part of you has just died making you weaker." She slides her claws into my stomach and twists her hand. I am too heartbroken to fight back. The guilt rushes through my body.

I turn my head to look at Grayson. Ethan lift him onto his lap and weeps at the sight of his fallen twin brother. The woman slaps me and then lifts my face by squeezing my cheeks.

"You ruin everyone's life, mine and now his. You killed him and now I should do what you promised, and kill you."

She punches me in the face two times, once with her right hand and another time with her left. I can feel my rose bleeding. My body feels like it is shutting down. Maybe she is right, I do deserve to die. Grayson, a boy I have grown up with has died because I wasn't there to help him.

She yanks her hand back and all I could think about is Ethan and Wesley. All the love I have for them. Grayson... he shouldn't die for no reason. I need to avenge him.

Before her claws reach my throat, mine's reaches hers. My lefts claws wrap around her neck and seep into her throat. I crush everything inside including bonds and veins. I watch as her eyes widen from shock. Her blood dips down my arm before I throw her to my right.

I do not have the energy to lift myself off the ground. I think this is my time. This is my time to die.

I feel a hand lift my head off the ground. I look up at him, at Ethan.

"What is happening Johanna?" I cries out as tears roll down his face. "I can't lose you too."

He wipes the blood coming out of my mouth. His hands are warm and soft.

"I'm going to die Ethan," I whisper back using all the power I have left within me. "I am so sorry about Grayson."

"Han please," he sounds crushed and broken. "Don't leave me."

"I love you Ethan," I say back. My body feels like it is floating up into the air.

Nothing. I feel nothing.
