"People ain't ready for a real N. I. G. G. A."- Unknown

Cairo

"So what's the plan Cai?" I rubbed my goatee thinking this plan through. "Bum rush the nigga type shit. Run up. I need you to grab Si and Zeer and leave, take them home. I don't want them there at all." "Nah man, I ain't leaving you with that nigga." "Gee, I got this shit, just get my family out of that house, I can handle the rest." He sighed, "Iight man, whatever you say." We dapped each other up and exited the car. I made sure my guns were loaded and so did he, since we parked about five blocks from his apartment we walked in silence just thinking about what might go down. What if I don't make it out? I mean I got enough for Si and Ahzeer to be set for the rest of their lives so I guess I'm good. "Cai." I looked at Gee from the corner of my eye. "Yeah." "Stop over thinking shit, I got Si and Zeer just in case shit switch up." I nodded my head and kept walking.

.

.

"You want me to knock or you?" "You knock cause you gotta get to Zeer and Si, I'll hold him down while you get em." He nodded his head and knocked on the door. He knocked again with more authority, but no one would answer. I checked if the door was open, sure enough it was. We walked in slowly not trying to make noise. I kept hearing faint cries from the back room. We had our guns pointed just in case shit popped off. I opened the door quietly, but it creaked making whoever on the other side move. I heard rustling and a gun being pointed to my head. I didn't see who it was but I had a guess of who it could be. "Sienna, put the gun down." "Cairo?" I shook my head as she jumped on me and cried. "Baby, I, I killed him." "Where's his body?" She didn't say anything just cried on my shoulder. I lifted her head analyzing her face, it was dressed with bruises and scratches, as cliche as this sounds, she was still beautiful. "Gee, go look for his body." He nodded and walked around the apartment giving us time to talk.

"What happened Si, tell me." She looked down and back at me, but this time with anger. "He was beating my baby, I grabbed his gun out the, the dresser and shot him in the back." I kissed her forehead. "I'm sorry Sienna." "It's not your fault Cai." "It is, I should've been here for you and Ahzeer." "Just don't leave again. Please." I kissed her trembling lips. "Never. Where's Zeer."  "In the closet. I told him not come out." I  sat her on the bed and walked to the closet cautiously, I opened up the closet to see Ahzeer wrapped up in a blanket in a ball. "Shit." I mumbled. I sat next to him as he unwrapped his self. "Zeer, it's daddy, you can come out." He looked like he had been crying and he was bruised too. I wish that nigga was still alive so I could kill his ass! I opened my arms for him to crawl into while he cried and asked me tons of questions. "You ready to go home?" He nodded as he rubbed his tired eyes. I picked him up and laid his head on my shoulder.  "Baby, come on." She grabbed Zeer and kissed his cheek. I held her hand as we walked out of this apartment. That night I slept with my family. Ion care how much of a pussy I may sound, but if you've ever been close to losing your family you can relate.

**One Year Later...

Sienna

"How's Ahzeer?" Cai asked from the phone. "He's fine baby. We miss you."  "I miss ya'll too." Just one more year." I smiled at the hope in his voice. If I run out of it all I have to do is get a call from Cai and all of his hope washes over me. "How you doing though?" "Taking this shit one day at a  time." "That's good baby. I'm coming to see you soon." "Sienna, you know ion want you coming to see me in here, especially with my son. I hate that shit." "Cairo, I am coming! If you don't want Zeer to come I won't bring him, but I'm coming to see my husband." He stopped to  huff out a deep breath causing it to sound like wind blowing. "I don't want you coming up here, seeing me behind glass Sienna. Shit ain't a good look." Cairo and Gee got locked  up a couple of months after they saved me from Telvin for drug trafficking. Someone from their team helped set them up and got them two years in the state penitentiary. Luckily, they hired great lawyers  that brought down their time to two years instead of the five the judge was trying to feed them. Me and Cai got married a month before he turned his self in and even though are relationship is rocky, I woulnd't want to be riding for no one else.

"Si, you still there?" I snapped out of my trance, answering with a 'hmm'. "Don't be mad at me baby, I know you miss me and I miss yo ass more than anything, I just hate seeing you and not being able to hold you. Shit pisses me off." "Cairo. I want to see you, even if I can't hold your hand, I still want to see your face." "I got it, I jus-- You have thirty seconds before this call is disconnected." The machine said. I rolled my eyes and laid on my bed. "Imma go, I guess. I love you baby." "I love you too Cai, and me and Lacie took care of all the kids today."  "That's my girl, love you." And with that the call dropped. Now, your probably asking why I just said me and Lacie took care of all the kids, that's just our lingo to tell em that their business is still on top. You can say we're the wives of two drug kings that never left the drug world, even though their behind bars. We're the backbones, we keep shit clean and you'd never guess that it was just two little ass woman in a mans business doing better than most of these motherfuckers out here. I still own my salon, but for the most part, I'm involved in this world that I was once foreign to. I know how to weigh, cut, and deal. I know when a motherfucker messin' with my money and I know when to dead ya life. I'm not the wife of Cairo Graco for nothin'.
