Eye of the Storm

Story 5

  "Get up!" Your boyfriend Brent says as he shakes you awake. You grunt at him. "Happy Birthday babe!" He announces.
   "Oh yeah I forgot about that."
   "Well I didn't." He says taking a small gift bag out from behind his back. You take it from him and take out the tissue paper then the present it self. It was a frame with a picture you recognized the photo.
    "Do you remember this day?" He asks.
    "How could I forget, it was 11 years ago when you asked me out in our first date, we went down to the little barbeque shack on the corner of the mall, you told the waiter how you got me to go on a date so he took a photo of us and said we would remember that day for the rest of our lives."
    "I remember that day all the time and it makes be so happy how lucky I am to have you." He moves in closer and you two kiss, and snuggle up with each other smiling so much your jaw hurts. "Do you remember the first time we met?" He asks
    "Of course I do, I went to one of your first shows and I was out back and you came over to me trying to get me to go out with you."
    "Me constantly asking you out did finally pay off and I couldn't be happier." He reminds you. You look back down at the photograph.
    "I mean just look at that bright red hair."
    "Yeah, I looked pretty sexy then didn't I?" He says wiggling his eyebrows.
    "Right." You say shaking your head.
    "Maybe you would look even more sexy if you cut you hair short."
    "Maybe I will." He answers. He exits the room and you take a shower and get dressed. You finish up and leave the room to find Brent but as you walked around the house you realize he had actually left. You look outside and his car was gone. You text him asking if he was okay. No answer. Soon he pulled up to the house. you walk out side and make sure everything was okay. You stop immediately as he gets out of the car. he had left and got his hair cut short, he looked like a different person.
   "You like it?" He asks.
   "Now you're definitely super sexy!"

Sorry this story was short but that's kinda been the idea I've been going for in these five short stories so far.
