When You Tell Your Friends You're Dating

Casey walked you back to your bedroom after your date. You kiss him on the cheek before saying "Goodnight love." Casey smiled and touched his cheek. "Goodnight my beautiful angel." He said as he left. You climbed into bed happy as could be. The smile never left your face. The next morning Casey met you outside your apartment building and the two of you walked to school. Casey and you were talking at your locker. You two were acting quite romantic. But you felt like someone was staring at you guys. You shook off the feeling and concentrated on your sweet boyfriend. Casey soon had to leave so he could get to class on time. He gave you a hug and kiss on the cheek then left. You turned to a mirror you had pinned on your locker and began applying lipgloss to your lips. Suddenly April appeared in the reflection. You gasped in fright. "Oh April it's only you. You scared me." You muttered as you tucked away your lipgloss. "Yeah, so judging by what I saw here I'm guessing you and Casey are a couple now." April said in a serious voice. By the tone of her voice you could she wasn't happy. "Yeah! We wanted to tell you and the turtles all together but I guess you found out early." You said. "Yeah, I hope things work out for you two. But you Casey isn't known for staying with one girl too long. Well I gotta go. See ya!" April said giving a cheery wave. She bumped your shoulder slightly as she left. Your mouth fell open as a frown covered your face. Why would she say that? You shook off the feeling of sadness. You knew Casey and you were something real. You really cared about each other and you would be together forever. Nothing could change that. April was probably just joking anyways. Wasn't she? After school you and Casey walked hand in hand to the lair. April had to stay late to finish a project. You were quite grateful for that. You weren't in the mood to face her again. As you entered the lair Mikey instantly appeared. "I'm guessing things went well last night." He said. "Wait how do you know about last night?" You ask. "Uh I kinda asked them for some advice on how to woo you." Casey said nervously rubbing the back of his neck. "Aw that's adorable! But yes we're an official couple!" You say happily. Mikey wraps you both in a tight hug. "Oh I knew you guys would be perfect! Guys it worked! They're together!" Mikey yelled. You cheering come from the kitchen. The rest of the turtles soon came out and joined in the hug. Casey had nervous or scared expression on his face. "Guys I can't breathe." He rasped. You just giggled. You loved your friends and boyfriend with all of your heart.
