When You Get Boy Advice

You sat in your room staring at the picture of Casey in your yearbook. All you wanted was to talk to him again. Suddenly there's a loud knock on your door. You slam the book closed and toss it to the side. The door bursts open to reveal your father. He looked somewhat formal in a wrinkled collared shirt and a faded pair of jeans with some scraped up loafers. "Hey I got myself a date so I'm gonna be out late. I got your aunt to come and stay with you while I'm gone." He said before he walked out the door. You could hear him slam the front door loudly. You walk out of your room to see your aunt sitting on the couch. She was young and lively. She had always been very kind to you. She waved hello to you as you sat next to her. "Auntie could I ask you something?" You ask. "Anything kiddo." She replies. You take a deep breath before asking your question. "What would you do if you liked a boy?" You ask. Your aunt lets out a small laugh. "Well if you really like this boy then you should ask him on a date." Your aunt tells you. "But what if he doesn't like back?" You say worried. "Now why wouldn't he like you? You're pretty, you're smart, and you're kind. There's nothing to dislike!" Your aunt says. A big smile crosses across your face. "Thank you auntie, I love you!" You say as you hug her. "You are very welcome my darling." She says as she returns the hug. The rest of that night you two watched cheesy romance movies and your aunt helped you figure out what to say to Casey. She even helped you pick out an outfit to wear when you talk to him. It was a nice (F/C) dress that ended just above your knees and pair of black ankle boots with small wedges on them. You looked absolutely stunning. As you lay in bed that night you kept playing the scenario of you and Casey in your head. "Tomorrow at school I promise I'm gonna talk to him no matter what!" You told yourself. Then you rolled over on your side and fell into a deep sleep.
