back when bobby was still alive, he clearly stated that he didn't want kids because of how his father was. plus, his personality is based on all the loss and pain he's endured (i.e. his wife being possessed by a demon and later killed by him) and i think that if he had a kid (or anyone that he loved left for that matter), he wouldn't be as cynical and closed of all the time, meaning he wouldn't be himself.
it's okay to use this plot, but switch it up so your story is not so basic.
maybe your oc could have been a one night stand mistake and bobby found out about them until later on. or maybe the ocs parents died at the hands of a supernatural creature and bobby decided to take them in bc he was close with their parents.
