It was a Friday before school and I was talking to tris on tris on the phone. "Emily can you get dressed and come down here quickly please!!!!" she yells from the kitchen. "I gtg tris sorry talk later love u" I say and hang up before she can reply.
I run down the stairs and into the kitchen. I see Tobias standing in the room next to my brother who had his laptop out and was playing some weird computer game. "Hi mum" I say trying to ignore the fact that Tobias was in the room.
"Hi honey your friend is here he said he would give you a ride" She says smiling at him. "Awww how sweet of him" I say and walk over to him and smile.
I grab my back pack and say bye. I walk towards Tobias and hug him. "you didn't need to do this, you know I can take the bus" I say. "I know but I thought you might want a lift" He says smiling at me.
LATER DURING SCHOOL
I walk down the hall with tris as she babbles on about some boy she thinks looks cute in out home room. I turn around the corner and walk over to my locker and all the so called 'popular girls' look over at me.
"Tris why are they staring at me" I say trying to look at them without anyone noticing. "Probably because they heard your going out with Tobias. you know 'the new kid'" She says and brings me into a hug.
I hug her back and the bell rings just as she was going to say something. "We better get to class" She says and walks away from me to math class. Wow new does travel fast around here.
