[Chapter Four]
I woke up and shut off my alarm.
I shoved my head into my pillow and then remembered today is NATIONALS!
OMG! I got up and ran to my closet getting out my uniform and slipped it on (OUTFIT ON THE SIDE)
I then put on a pair of my nfinity tennis shoes and walked to my vanity and put my hair in a high ponytail and added a poof to it. I then grabbed my cheer bag and packed my warm ups and water.
I put my cheetah print phone case on and put my cheer bow in that was our colors and had cheetah print on it.
I then grabbed my keys and cheer bag and ran to my car. i started my car and drove to my best friend Peyton's house and picked her up she had the exact same thing on and we drove to the competition and went to our dressing room to do our make up all as a team.
Our coach's did our make up so they looked the same and we all waited to go on nerves go to us but we all hugged and held hands waiting for our team to get called.
Once we heard our team name we walked out and before stepping on the mat got in a circled and put our hands. We broke out on cheetahs.
We ran onto the blue mat and waved and then got to our positions. (video of performance on the side)
I got into stunt position and went up for a scorpion to a needle to a scale then twisted down we then did our chants with stunts.
and ended with our dance and pulled out the best we could do and the end we hit our last pose and cheered and ran off the mat and hugged.
*skipping to awards*
we all held hands waiting to see if we made the top 3 for worlds.
"3rd place goes to.... Kentucky, Rangers!"
"2nd place goes to...Idaho, Twister!"
we all prayed we made it..
"1st place goes to... CHEER ATHLETICS!"
We all screamed and jumped up and down and i got our trophy and was lifted up on my base Matt's shoulder as we went out for ice cream to celebrate.
the team decided to let me keep the trophy since i was the team leader this year and was very focused which i appreciated.
Finally we get to go to worlds!
