9. I never told you what I do for a living

An: there will be a lot of new characters in this chapter, but most of them will only be in this chapter.

There's blueprints laying in front of me and Dave starts to pointing at different points while he's talking. "Every exit has two guards. One to check so you don't bring anything dangerous in and the other to check you in and out. The diamond will be here the whole day, guarded by three guards and five security cameras. If one of the cameras stop function they send two others guards their. If someone is standing in the way, they will be asked to move and then they will get checked up in the FBI database. At night, the whole building will be secured with laser. Even a fly can activate it and every door will lock down and the four guards guarding it will get to the diamond directly. We can't change the guards with our own because they check the guards every hour to see what's happening. They also do background check on them before they get the job." Dave explains and I nod. "How are we going to get it then?" I ask. "So Spencer and Daniella are working on hacking FBI's database, and fix so FBI will think it's a threat to the diamond and they will tell the workers that the diamond must be moved. Joe, John and Jackson will play FBI agents, they will be on board the car that will carry the diamond. There will be cars and bikes after and before the car. Three different cars will carry a diamond, but the one with the guys are the real one. Tessa with help from Chloe, will drive the car, in the other cars Penny, Richard and Ethan will be placed so we know what's going on in them. You, Chris S, Chris H and Adam will drive the bikes. Matt and Helena will drive the helicopter. Cara, George, Kelly and I will take the diamond to a safe place after you guys have got it. Aron, Will, Samantha and Sam will guide you guys through the plan so we're all on the same page." Dave says and show me the position of everyone. "Have you talked with the others so you know that they will do this?" I ask and Dave nods. "Everybody except for Helena was in on it. Helena is one in if you are." He says. "So, are you in?"

Me: Things happened, neither me or Helena will go to school for at least two days.
Gabe: okay.
"Okay everybody listen up." Dave screams. "We have been able to hack FBI." He says and everybody cheers. "We strike tomorrow. Aron, Will, Samantha and Sam, you will make sure everything goes according to the plan. Talking with the others all the time, tracking the police and stuff. Joe, John and Jackson will change every FBI agents gun so the guns are useless. You will also put a tracking device on it and give the diamond to Adam and Chris H. Penny, Richard and Ethan, you will make sure everything is good in the other cars. Thea, Adam, Chris S and H, you will drive the bikes. Adam and Chris H will drive up behind the car and get the diamond. As soon as that happens FBI will know something's wrong and you have to give it to Thea as fast as you can. Thea, you will drive of to the meeting place and George will take your place as a bike driver in case they don't notice when you get the diamond. Evan will drive on a parallel road and then you will meet up. You will be identical to confuse if you're being followed. Evan will have a copy of the diamond and you can switch it you want to confuse. You guys will then meet Cara, Kelly and I who will take the diamond to the buyer while you confuse the FBI more. Matt and Helena, you will drive the helicopter. You guys will also look after cars from the distance so we know if it will be any problems." Dave says and everybody writes down their task. "The buyer is giving us five million dollars." Dave added. "Five million? That's not much for this job, not even one million each." George say and the other nods. "Each. "Five millions each." Dave smiles. "That's hundred thirty million. That's a lot for a diamond." Kelly say shocked. "It's one of the most famous diamonds." Dave explains. "Well then, Let's do this." Tessa says and we all stand up. We put our hands in a circle. "Go!" We scream and lifts them at the same time.

"Where's the diamond?" Aron screams into my ear. "Thea needs it, we will miss our chance soon." He continues. "I got it." Chris H screams back. "Thea, I'm driving up to you! Be prepared." He add and I see how a bike drives closer. "George, Thea got it. Switch." Sam order and a another bike drives up to the black car and I turn right into a alley. "I'm right behind you." Evan whispers. "Fuck! The diamond must have some alarm on it. I can see ten cop cars driving up behind you. Twenty meters from the first diamond car." Matt says with a little bit of panic in his voice and Evan drives up beside me. "We got company." He explains and I look back. There's five motorcycles behind us. "Tessa, if you continue on that route there's a lot of traffic, you guys will get caught. Plan B." Helena order. "Got it." Tessa answers and I know she speed up and turn into a different road. "Penny, Ethan and Richard, when you hear two fast honks, jump out of the car. I'm behind Penny now." Will announce. "Spencer is erasing every trace of us being in the FBI database." Sam tells us. "We're almost there." I state. "Starting the car." Dave's calm voice says. "One minute." Evan adds and I take out the diamond. "Now." I scream and turn around so my bike falls to the ground and the diamond fly into Kelly's hands and I take up my bike and drive after Evan. "Good job." Dave whispers. "I think I broke my leg. But I can probably make it." I scream and drive faster. "Be careful." Matt tells me. "There's five bikes after you guys." Cara explains. "And six bikes ahead of you." Matt add. "We can fix it." Evan says with confidence. "We will drive back to the base." Will explain. "Good, we drive to the meeting place." Cara says. "Tessa, take the long road back to the base. I will inform you about changes." Sam says. "Fucking hell, we're almost trapped." Evan's voice echoes. "You take back, I take front." I say and we both take out a gun. "Go." He screams and we both start to shoot. "Two down." I cheer. "Three down for me." Evan says. "I'm all out." I say a bit worried we might not get out of here alive. "One left." Evan say and shoots another one. "Plan C for us." I whisper and turn my bike around. "See you at home." I speed of to the road I came from. Evan speeds of the other way. "Evan, you have three after and Thea you have one. They have already send back up." Helena explains. "The deal went good. We're going home." Kelly says. "I lost one, and I also lost my knife." Evan comments. "Good, try to lose the others." Matt tell him. "I have a idea." Evan say. "Thea, you're almost out on the road. There's three cars waiting for you. When I tell you, you speed up." Matt explains. "I'm heading home." Evan announces. "I threw them the fake diamond." He adds. "Speed up." Matt yells and I do as I'm told. I drive over to the side where the traffic goes the opposite way. "Smart. It will slow them down." Helena triumphs. "Two cars gone. They were in a accident." Matt explains and I can almost hear him smile. One bike and one car left." I tell them. "They figure we have the helicopter." Sam' panic voice says. "They are trying to shut it of. You have to park it." Samantha screams. "Thea, you're on your own now." She adds. "I can do it." I mumble and take out my empty gun. "Catch." I scream and throws it at the bike driver. "One down." I triumph and look back at the bike that's laying on the ground and the unconscious man beside it. "Two down." I exclaim when the car drives over the bike and turns into another car. "I'm going back to the base." I say and speed up.

"Good job. We all made it out alive." Dave cheers. "Minus my leg." I laugh. Turns out it was broken, we couldn't go to the hospital so Tessa helped me to fix it up. Everybody except for Dave, Tessa, Evan, Chloe, Matt, Penny, Joe and I have already left. The others and Penny are in a different part of the gang, but Penny stays a day longer than the others. "So are everybody clear on what to say if anyone asks what we did today?" Penny asks and everybody nods. "We had a little party together, and Matt and Thea sneaked out and then Thea fell down her bed and broke her leg." Penny says for the fifth time and we all nod. She told us that me and Matt was the ones with best connections and therefore he should be with me when I broke my leg. "Now it's time to go to bed." Dave smiles at us and we gather in a group hug. "You guys are my family, You're always welcome here." Dave smiles at us. "But before you go to bed, we have a announcement to make ." Tessa says and puts her hands on her belly. "We're pregnant." Dave and Tessa says at the same time. "Omg, congratulations." I say. Thanks." Dave laughs and gives me a hug. "Is it a boy or a girl?" I asks. "We don't want to know before the baby is born." Dave says. "We have to throw you guys a party." Matt exclaims. "What are you going to name it?" Joe asks. "Ace Harper." Tessa says. "After Ashely." Dave add and everybody stops talking. "That's a great idea." Evan breaks the heavy silence. I feel how I'm going to cry so I hug everyone and then I go up to my room and lay down on the bed. "Oh god how I miss you Ash." I cry and bury my head in my pillow. "If you only were here now." I say and I start to cry more. I feel how someone take a seat beside me and I look up to see Matt. "Why did she have to die?" I cry and he gives me a hug. "I don't know. I wish she was here." He says and holds me closer. "Can you sleep here tonight?" I ask him and he nods. "Of course, everything for you."

~flashback~

I put the gun together again. "How many times do I have to do this?" I ask annoyed. "Until you can do it with your eyes closed." Dave answers. "I can do that already." I say and close my eyes. I take it apart and put it together again. "See, I didn't look." I say proudly. "I'm proud of you." He smiles. "Now I will teach you how to shoot." Dave says. "It will be good to know in the future." He adds. "Try to aim at that dot." He point towards a practices target with blue circles and a red dot in the middle. I aim at it and pull the trigger. The bullet hits almost five centimeters from the dot. "Good job Thea. You almost hit it." He says and claps his hands. "Some grown ups can't even do that." He whispers in my ear. "You're really good for a eight year old. Better than me when I was your age. Are you sure you haven't held a gun before?" He asks laughing. "Never." I replies. "Okay, enough talking, try again." He laughs.
