The sun had began setting when Ullr spoke again and the sapphire eyes of Cerise scanned the sky and her surroundings before responding. They were ahead of schedule and well outside town limits, but the nord often did not stop until it was too dark to travel. She had not been prepared for the complaining orsimer to have needs unlike her own so after surveying the area she veered Sigra off the main road. The huntress encouraged the mare to a hasty gallop, uncaring if her companion's mount could keep up with the rigorous pace.
The leader led the group to a small hill, with the lake to one side of the clearing and the forest to the other. The water to their backs would keep them relatively safe for the night and Cerise nodded curtly to the orcish woman and dismounted.
The task of making camp was one that had been ensued a million times over, so the pitching of the tent and unsaddling her things took little time for Cerise. By the time Sigra was hitched to a nearby tree and a fire pit was dug out from the wet earth it was still an hour or so before dusk.
Cerise sat beside the makeshift fire pit and began skinning the rabbit she had kept from earlier. She had gathered everything in preparation for a fire and decided to test the waters and see if Ullr knew anything about camping.
"Make the fire." The words were as bitter and emotionless as ever, and she did not raise her steely gaze to the woman, rather focusing on the skinning of the brown hare.
She paused briefly to remove the vial of troll fat from her belongings, tossing the heavy sludge to Ullr without glancing at her.
