The remainder of the trip was as bleak and uneventful as expected. Despite Ullr's attempt at conversation, Cerise kept her steely composure and failed to answer anything unless needed. Due to this, the vast chunks of the trip was spent in silence.
The group would stop for sleep and occasionally the huntress would leave her companions in pursuit of game, but other than that the voyage was painless.

Cerise and Ullr found themselves on the outskirts of Whiterun just shy of four days. Sigra had grown wary from the trip, which made Cerise contemplate staying for a few days after speaking with Ullr's new company.

Upon approaching the large iron gates of Whiterun, Cerise lead the group to the stables where a disgruntled Sigra was confined to a stall and with an equally confused Bruse. The guard frowned beneath the iron helmet he adorned, hand reflexively stretching toward his sword.
"There's been a dragon attack. We are only allowing citizens of Whiterun and any with information inside."

The word 'dragon' was almost unbelievable itself, but Cerise pursed her lips and turned to leave. They would find a way into the city, whether it was against the law or not.
Dragons had been gone for a long time, and Cerise didn't doubt that the guards were just making a story to give the rugged huntress a hard time.

It was not unheard of for cities to deny the outsider entry, which is why Cerise usually stuck around the villages in Falkreath hold where she was more well-known
