meeting at the right time

chapter 8

demi's pov

norman was gone for a while now and i was curious what he went to buy. i haddent notice him seeing something that he wanted. he told us what to get him for lunch and i was worried that he would take too long. our food came and just when we were about to eat, norman came from around the corner. "just in time i see." he had a small black bag with him. i couldnt help myself wondering what it was. "wow this is really good. i was starving." he said. we ate our lunch together and we were having a good time before a bunch of girls ran over to our table. they nearly pushed me aside. "omg norman could you take a picture with us?" he smiled. "sure girls but you almost knocked my friend out so be more carefull next time." they looked at me and gave a fake smile. there hands were all over him and he let them. they were laughing and i could see that some girl gave him her phonenumber and he smiled. they took the pictures and left. i knew how he was with his fans but i didnt think he would go along with them. thats when i realized he wasnt mine and he never will. he even put the piece of paper in his pocket. he saw that i was out of it and he grabbed my hand. "hey are you okay sweetheart?" i removed my hand from his and gave him a look. "i'm fine. why do you ask?" he frowned. "you are giving me a weird vibe and its showing." i chuckled. "look we had a good time and thats it. you were kinda what i needed right now. we both can do what we want." he gasped at my arrogance. i didnt mean it but i couldnt help it to shut him out. "i'm going to the bathroom." i got up and balled my fists as i stormed off.

norman's pov

i sat there completely suprised and confused why she was so mean to me. macy shook her head and looked at me. "what?" she sighed. "you are an idiot. why would you grab that chicks phonenumber and put it in your pocket?" i closed my eyes and realized that was a stupid fucked up move. "if i saw it that means she did. she probably thinks that you and her can never be together because fans will always get between you two. even when you dont want too." i played with my fingers nervously. "dude this wasnt a smart choice you just made. you were sitting with company and your girl sat right next to you. she wasnt jealous she just sees that she doesnt fit in your life." JD spoke to me and i never thought about it that way. she came back and she looked like she had been crying. i hate that i caused that. i wanted her to be happy and have everything she dreamed off. i pulled her chair closer and that caught her off guard. "what are you doing?" i sighed. "shut up and listen. i know i'm a busy guy and i got things to do but i always make time for people i care about and they mean everything to me. you are one of those people who found a place in my heart. i was stupid enough to put this piece off paper in my pocket. i should have done this." i rubbed it between my fingers and threw it on the table. she smiled slightly but not enough. i grabbed the gift bag and put it in front of her. "what's this?" "open it and see." she raised her brow but pulled the ribbon loose. there was a small box inside and she took it out. she opened it and gasped. she had tears in her eyes. "thank you its beautiful but why would you buy this for me?" i took her hand and rubbed her knuckles with my thumb. "because its true what it says. you said its your dream and now your dream has come true and i saw it and i wanted to give you that." she took the pendant out of the box and smiled. "you shouldnt have but i love it. can you help me putting it on?" i nodded and she turned around. I wanted to give her a kiss but we were to exposed and that wouldnt be a good idea. "So whats next?" I asked. "We could go to madamme tussauds or a zoo or something else." I smiled. "I'll take the zoo then. I love animals." Demi chuckled. "Ditto. I'm happy you wanna do that. It relaxes me to walk through there." She smiled at me and i could tell she was doing good. "We have to drive back a little further. If we go on foot its to far." Macy said. We paid for lunch, got up and went back to the car. I was hoping i could have private time with her at the zoo.

We arrived at this zoo and it was in between hotels and houses. I was suprised that it didnt lay seperatly from everything. Cookie made some calls to let the manager know we were coming. Apparantly they had closed it so that other people wouldnt be able to get in but just out. We went inside and paid our entrances. The first thing we did was go to the butterfly dome. All sorts were flying around and it was peaceful there. I saw dem enjoying where we were. "Hey babe looks like you're relaxed." She smiled. "Hmmm animals just calm me down thats all." I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind and placed my head in her neck. She laid her hands on mine. We both stood still, looking at the butterflies swarming around us. She lifted her hand and one of them flew right onto it. she whispered to me. "When you are completely still, people say they will come." The animal was gorgeous. When it opened up it was bright blue and when he closed his wings it had this brown greyish look. "Hey guys are we gonna be here all day or what?" macy asked. Demi sighed and we let go of eachother. I really liked being with her. She just brings me at ease.

We walked through the zoo and enjoying the animals and we went to the shop before we left. I gave her a stuffed animal. It was getting late and some of us were hungry. Macy told us about a restaurant but i kinda wanted my privacy again. This was awesome but i didnt want people coming to us again. This was my last night with demi. I think she noticed me not wanting that. "If you guys want we could just eat at our cottage and i'll make some food." I smiled at her. "That sounds awesome. Cookie what do you say?" "I have dinner date with the wife and i cant back away from that." she smiled. "why dont we pick up your wife and she can eat with us." he was suprised that she asked that. "yeah that would be cool." we drove back to the hotel where cookie's wife was and she loved to join us for dinner. cookie told the driver that he would drive to car himself. we sat in the car and angelina turned around. "thats so nice of you to invite us. most of them would only take there time with norman and jeffrey." demi smiled. "cookie is part of their family so i gladly invite him over and his wife. he saved us good today." he scoffed. "yeah but she pulled one on me and passed me and grabbed the chick again." her eyes widened. "she got past you? wow she must be good."

we drove up the pavement and we went inside. "guys take a seat and i'll start to cook." i sighed. "are you sure you're up for it babe?" she nodded and went into the kitchen. angelina frowned. "is there something i'm missing here?" cookie chuckled. "norman has found his girl for the time being." she eyed me. "norman!" i shook my head. "it's not like that with her. she's different and i care for her." macy spoke up now. "its true. they're both good for eachother. my friend has got this illness that causes severe pain and he has pulled her out of it, twice." then walked into the kitchen. angelina looked at me. "do you pitty her is that it?" i shook my head. "no i dont. i really like her." "then you need to think about what you're doing. she lives no where near you norman. she seems a really genuine woman dont hurt her when you know you're going back tomorrow." i balled my fists. "who says it wont break my heart? who says that i wont miss her when i leave again?" they were suprised at my outburst all but jeffrey. "i told you buddy it was coming." i sighed. "i'm gonna see if she needs help.

i walked into the kitchen and she was busy making dinner with mace. "hey macy can you give us a second?" she nodded and went out. "what's wrong handsome? are you hungry? here taste this for me." she took out a spoon and made me open wide. "hmm thats good." she smiled. "yeah i hope the rest likes it." i chuckled. "don't worry so much sweetie. they were happy to be invited." she was cooking vegetables mixed with herbs and steaks. she was busy working on the sauce and that was with mushrooms. "smell really good in here." she chuckled. "is that why you came here? to tell me that my food smells good?" i sighed. "no it just hit me that its my last night with you and that sucks." her smile fainted a little. "i know we just have to make the best of it i guess. i'm happy i got my time with you." i got closer. "would you mind me staying the night? i dont wanna go back to the hotel without you." she smiled. "if its okay with cookie, its fine by me." i watched this gorgeous woman and at this moment she was mine and no one else. she noticed me deep in thoughts again. "are you feeling okay norman?" "fuck butterflies babe, i feel the whole fucking zoo when i'm with you." i grabbed her and kissed her passionatly on the lips.
