meeting at the right time

chapter 15

Norman's pov
She packed some stuff and said her goodbye's to everyone. I was kinda nervous bringing them along with me. Emily haddent flew yet. "Mommy i'm scared." Demi smiled. "Its okay sweetie. Its just a big plane and its gonna bring us to where norman lives. Just try to get some sleep." It was a long flight. We would go to NY first for a couple of days and then too atlanta for shooting the walking dead. I had called greg to say i was bringing them with me. He had said that she had to sign a disclosure agreement because no one could know about the show. She said that it wasnt a problem.

We arrived in NY and they both were sleeping. Before i woke them up i took a picture. I wasnt gonna post this. This one was just for me. People saw me and they came to me asking for a selfie. I was annoyed because my girls were standing there. She smiled at me  and i loved her even more knowing that she didnt care me doing this. They were all very nice to her. She was suprised herself. I knew not all the fans were crazy. We went to the car and i told her i had to pick up eye first. I had asked a friend to watch him when i went to see demi. I didnt want to drag him all the way to belgium. We arrived at my house in NY and she looked nervous as hell. "Babe are you okay?" She shook her head. "I'm just scared that people are gonna come at me." I chuckled. "Its fine sweetie. We're just gonna be here for a couple of days and then we're gonna go to antlanta." I wasnt so relaxed myself. I knew when they would see us that some wouldnt like that. She was tired and asked to lay on my bed for a while. I was letting emily sleep in ming's room. I had called him to tell em that he was getting a sister or a brother. He was suprised it wasnt diane. I told him that demi was special and he would like her. He was happy for me but i knew that there could be a chance that they'll never meet. I was playing with emily, when demi screamed. I ran into the room and tried to calm her down. "I'm here babe relax. I got you." She was pinching my arms and i could tell she was in pain. She was feeling stressed because of coming here. "Mommy?" Emily laid herself next to demi and it was amazing to see how fast she calmed down. "Thanks sweetie. Mommy's fine go back and play" the kid jumped off the bed and went to the living room. "Are you really okay?" She smiled. "Yes i had my two heroes with me. That helped a bit." I chuckled and kissed her. "Would you be up to go to the NY zoo with emily tomorrow. We are kinda tired today." She nodded. "She would love that and so would i." We stayed in for the rest of the day and rested. I had called cookie if he was available for tommorow to come with us. He said that it wasnt a problem.

Demi's pov
I woke up the next day feeling peppy. I was excited to finally walk around NY a bit. It had been a long term dream of mine. I got up and decided to make my 2 favorite people some breaky. My girl was already doing dome colouring. Norman walked in with a look on his face like he haddent slept. "Goodmorning sleepy head. I made you breakfast." I placed a plate with eggs and bacon and a cup off coffee. "Hmm you read my mind babe. Smells awesome." I smiled and i sat down with him. "Emily time for a sandwich." She came running and took a seat. "What do you want hunny?" She pointed at the chocolate spread. I smiled and took it. "Okay but  we need to take some sandwiches with us too." She frowned. "Where we going?" I smiled and norman cleared his troath. "Norman says its a suprise." She continued eating. "We dont have to bring anything. We'll eat there. I dont want you to pack to heavy." He was so sweet. "When do we leave?" I asked him. "When cookie gets here." After we finished eating i got emily ready. I was fully dressed and my belly was showing. I was proud strutting me being pregnant. "Looking good sweetheart." He grabbed me and kissed me roughly. I stopped him and giggled. "Woah hold your horses buck. There are children in the room." He noticed emily and blushed. The doorbell rang and it was cookie with angelina. He said that she loved to come with us.

When we were at the zoo, people were actually very sweet. "Hi you're demi right?" I smiled and nodded. "Wow looks like you're having a baby. Congrats you two." Norman was holding the pusher where emily sat in. "Thanks thats very sweet of you." They smiled at us. "We're very happy that norman finally found a normal woman to spend his time with. We werent pro-diane at all. Excuse me for saying that norman but she just wasnt right for you." I chuckled and norman blushed. "Thank you so much but i'm a very lucky woman to be blessed with this man. He's my savior and my guardian." They eyed me. "I have a health problem with my back and didnt think he would stick around when my attacks happened but he helped me through one and we grew stronger towards eachother." They gasped. "Omg that sounds serious. I hope everything will work out." I smiled and nodded. "Thank you." "Well we'll leave you guys to enjoy your day. Thanks for giving a moment off your time." I shook my head. "Its not a problem at all. Thank you for being so sweet." The rest of the day people kinda left us alone. i enjoyed my time with him and my daughter. i could get used to it, being with him like that. We sat down for lunch there and i noticed people staring at us and smiling. It was weird for me not being famous and being with norman made me that way. "Hey everything okay sweetheart?" He asked. "Yeah i'm fine. Just taking in this moment with you. With us." He smiled and took my hand. I was suprised that he showed affection in public. Some people took pictures and it didnt bother me that much.

Later that evening we were back at his place and it the word was already going round that i was here with him. 'People saw norman having a day at the zoo with his pregnant girlfriend and her daughter. Looks like they were having some family time. We wish them all the best and they look really happy.' I smiled when he read that. "Looks like people dont find you that bad babe." I chuckled. "Yeah looks like." I checked up on emily and he came behind me. He placed his hands on my stomach. "I'm happy you're here with me. If you werent, i would just be worried all the time." I smiled. "I'm not going anywhere for now handsome. Our baby is safe with me." He nuzzled into my neck. For the first time in a while i was actually very happy. I couldnt wait to go too atlanta with him.
