"Mom, no." I screamed.

I fell to my knees, flashing backwards from my mothers bedroom window.

I watched a small child stepped closer to two tall redneck men, young but not to young. Daryl and Merle. The small girl gripped onto Daryl's pant leg.

"Daryl." she choked out as the ambulance brought out my ashy burnt mother in a sitting stanza.

She had fallen asleep while smoking a cigarette the ash from the cigarette had fell to the dusty pollenated carpet the room insistly catching on fire within seconds. She hadn't woken up to the heat that was consuming her nor was she awhere.

Daryl bent down slowly picking up the girl. He shielded her from the horrid scene in hopes she didn't see.

I felt a pang of hurt and sorrow that Daryl and Merle hadn't taken notice to me at all.

"Daryl? Merle?" I croaked. No response. Neither turned to look at me. "Please?" I begged.

I stumbled forward placing my hand on Daryl's shoulder instantly falling to the ground.

Their eyes were on me watching me but not sensing me. I slowly peered up looking at the small child Daryl held so close to him.

He whimpered pressing a kiss to her forhead. "Ssh. Baby, don't cry." Daryl soothed, rubbing her back.

The little girl sniffled reaching her tiny had out. Merle grabbed her hand, clenching his eyes shut. Though he was tough and didn't show weakness he was at the moment at one of his weakest, but hiding it with a passion. He squeezed the child's hand for good measure then dropped it. He wobbled up to the girl kissing her cheek and patting Daryl's back before walking away.

The girl shook her brown hair from her eyes looking up at me. As I gasped she had a similar facial expression. I moved my arm to the left she would. To the right she'd move to the right.

"Sh-she's me." we uttered.

I awoke with a cold sweat, tears brimming my eyes. Two hairy arms were securely wrapped around my waist. I cocked my head to the side looking back at Harry. I must have fallen asleep after he told me to 'Go to sleep love, I'll watch 'em.' I squirmed outta Harry's grip making my way to the front of the bus. Daryl shook his sitting beside a crying Beth.

"What happened?" I asked eying Daryl who had his face burried in hands.

"Beth I went on a walk," he said looking up to meet my gaze.

Beth's face said it all one of our own probably died. Beth looked at me shaking her head. "Someone died." she whispered, then looked back down crying again as Liam came over to comfort her.

Daryl mumbles, "We don't know if it was one of our own or not."
