A Broken Crossbow and Mic

Ch.12

*Third Person Pov*

They're feet crunched underneath them as they continued their walk. Mika slowed down twisting her body back to speak with her sister. Mika stopped complaining to Liz and started bothering Tyreese.

He stopped panting for a second to turn and face the two blonde sisters. Baby Judith in his arms making gurggling sounds.

"We're we going?" Liz asked Tyreese.

"Further. Come on."

Night fell as the four settled down in the woods for the night. Judith began to whine.

"Here." Liz said putting her rabbit blood covered knife aside and handing Tyreese a bottle of formula for Judy. Something stirred in the woods starling Mika.

"Walkers!" she gasped.

The four got up running away once again. In the morn' they discovered grapes Mika being the one to find them and show them to Liz. Together the two munched on them while Tyreese struggled with the whiny baby Judy.

"Hand me a diaper." Tyreese said to Liz laying Judith down to change her.

After Judith was changed Tyreese began to pick her back up when they heard a noise he quickly laid her back down pulling Mika and Liz by the arms.

"Stay together." he said going towards a near by bush. As Tyreese approached it ravens flew out at a fast pace scaring Mika.

Mika took off in a sprint running as fast as she could disappearing in the trees.

"Mika!" Liz screamed collecting the diaper bag as Tyreese got Judith. They ran in the same direction Mika took searching for the child.

"Mika!" Tyreese whisper yelled holding tightly onto Judith.

Mika stepped out from behind a tree casually looking up at the three.

"I got scared." she says.

Tyreese looks at Liz as she speaks. "You shouldn't have ran." she scolds her sister.

Tyreese shakes his head. "She did the right thing. When you see a walker you run but we your in a group you try to stick together." he says nodding to Mika.

A distant shriek gave Tyreese a slight ounce of hope that somebody from their group could possibly be alive.

Tyreese pulls the two blonde children together giving baby Judith to Liz. Tyreese nodded to the girls, Mika whining begging Tyreese not to leave them behind. Tyreese looked at the child telling her she was strong and he believe she could do it.

"Now don't fire unless you need to." Tyreese said running off.

When he found the source of the screaming he figured out it wasn't anybody from the prison but a different group. Two men fought off the walkers that date to attack them. The younger man screamed in pain as a walker munched into his arm then another walker bit his leg. He cried out falling to the ground dying in the most painfully way. Tyreese helped out killing the walkers around him then attempting to kill the walker attacking the older man. The man didn't turn out to lucky being bit on the neck. He fell to his knees, meanwhile . . . Mika and Liz faced a problem two walkers stalking them. Mika shot missing, Tyreese hearing it from where he was.

"Lizzy!" Mika cried out to the girl who had tuned out her surroundings having her hand over Judith's mouth and nose hushing the child in a violent manner.

Tyreese panicked turning around meeting a walker he punched it, then stabbing it's head. The older man succeeded in killing the walker who bit him.

"Ty." a small voice said happily.

Tyreese turned around meeting Mika, Liz, and Judith in Carol's arms?

Tyreese looked at her puzzling before the man behind him spoke telling them to follow the train tracks. They gradually took the path as the man sat on his knees, elbows buried in the dirt as he cried.

They soon reached a crossing. Lizzy and Mika smiled glimsping back at Tyreese, Carol and Judith before jogging up to the sign. 

Lizzy read it out loud smiling to herself.

A/N: I apologize for no recent updates. Its been hard plus haven't really saw all but one episode since Walking Dead returned. But I'm working on it. Also if I get more positive feed back I might do longer updates and stop puting Authors notes. So Comment, vote, and like, fan or whatever.
