Everyone was going crazy.

Adrien put on his coat hastily, "Just ask my Father about anything you don't understand. Don't worry," He said as he hugged me tightly, "I'll be with you in spirit. You can always call me if you're feeling nervous-"

"Adrien your flight is about to leave-"

"I know but..." He said with a sigh, "I really don't want to leave you alone...."

"I... I'll be fine, Adrien." I said, wrapping my arms around him, "Now go get on your flight."

We let each other go and Adrien looked back slightly just before he walked into the boarding area.

He went back to Paris.

I was alone.

Chloé walked out onto the rink as her turn creeped up. She thought about how, technically, Marinette was her teammate for the day.

She still had to beat her into the dust though.

"Is my father here, Mr. Agreste?" She asked.

Gabriel sighed, "Chloé, you should be focusing on your skating, not on whether your family is here."

"Is he here or not?" She snapped.

Mr. Agreste shook his head, "No Chloé, he's not here."

Chloé clenched her fist, "In that case," She said, "I'm changing the jump composition."

"To what?"

"I'm doing two jumps in the first half and six in the second."

"Do you have a death wish, Ms. Bourgeois?"

Chloé unzipped her jacket, showing her costume, "I have no other choice is I want to win."

"And here we have Chloé Bourgeois, dancing to a piece from the ballet, 'Anastasia'." The announcers said over the speakers, "Her theme this year is 'Royalty and Heroism'."

Swinging my arms back and forth to stretch out, I watched on the TV as Chloé began. I have never seen this piece before, but I heard she was doing a lot of jumps in the second half. That would take a lot of endurance.

The ballet piece was deep tones at first, suggesting royalty and power. She showed this with strong, but graceful movements. Then the music sped up and lightened in tone, and she sped up with power and beauty.

Her first two jumps were perfect. Was she saving her last six jumps for the second half?

I walked away from the TV. I walked towards the wall and began to stretch. It was hard not to listen as the announcers shouted and the audience cheered whenever Chloé landed another jump without flaw.

Soon it was almost time for me to go. I unzipped my jacket and almost handed it behind me, but then I remembered Adrien wasn't with me.

I placed the jacket on the floor and walked out to the rink just in time to see the end of Chloé's piece.

She had one more jump to go...
