Vox had planned on escaping twelve hours before hand, he had packed all he needed in his backpack and opened his window. He opened it ever so slightly and carefully not wanting to wake anyone. It was now three in the morning and everyone in the kingdom was asleep. Or at least he had thought, Vox climb out his window only to see guards surrounding the castle from all corners, sides and cracks. Making sure anyone could get in, or out. In Vox's case this was a very... unpleasant surprise. His father wanted to make sure he couldn't escape with his life if he had wanted to. So what did Vox do? He climbed down the wall of the castle, carefully as to not disturb or provoke the guards. He didn't want his father to know about this, or anyone for that matter.

Vox descended on the steep castle wall until he landed in a bush with a very feint thud. 'Okay, that wasn't so hard.' He looked around to find any sort of opening only to find the smallest crack. The guards were pacing back and fourth in front of a wall, easy enough for him to climb and get out of the castle. He just needed to distract the guards.. Vox quickly thought up a way to make a sound in the near distance. He got a rock, stick and leaf attaching the leaf to the end of the stick using sap and starching the stick to the rock using sap also. He waited for the right moment slowly creeping towards the wall. He then threw the stick making it land with a big thud over in the distance.

The guards rushed over and Vox ran to the wall quickly hopping onto a rock. He continued to climb up as he eventually reached the top. He descended until he reached the bottom landing with a louder thud thud time. There weren't many guards patrolling the city. So all he had to do was get passed them to the ship yard. He had made it after just over an hour of getting through the guards. He didn't want to hurt any, as he didn't know how to fight he was more worried of them hurting him. He had to sneak all the way to the ship yard. He found a ship small enough for it to not be detected leaving the planet. He quickly got in and looked for a way to start it. Once started he looked at the controls and found the auto pilot, he clicked it and set the coordinates to the orbit of this planet. Soon enough he was leaving orbit, "I'm finally free!" He yelled a smile plastered on his face as he looked down at the ground, "goodbye mother, goodbye father..."
