Chapter 1- Beaten and Runaway

(Y/n) Pov*

"I'm sorry!" I pleaded as my boyfriend, Buck held me by my neck against the wall. I was crying, he did this a lot and I couldn't leave him because he would eventually find me and beat me up. "You can never leave me." He whispered in my ear sending shivers up my back. I never should have said yes that night. He seemed so sweet back then, but now he was a monster. If you didn't obey him, he would beat you. If you ran away, he would find you. I don't even know why he wants to keep me. He dropped me on the ground and I curled up in a ball and cried. "Pathetic." I heard him mubble as he walked away.

I sat there cried for bit then looked at the clock. 6:12pm. I had to study and get my homework done. I had no time to be crying about something I caused. As I walked to my room I went passed the living room and saw Buck passed out on the couch from drinking. Maybe this was my chance to get away. I ran upstairs and looked in the mirror. I had a black eye and some cuts here and there. I had hand prints on my neck from where he held me up. I had to get away. I ran to my room and threw somethings in my backpack. I fast walked down the stairs to the frigerator and got some water bottles and snacks. I threw my bag over my shoulders and ran outside. I hopped on my bike and raced to the woods. Its the safest place I knew.
