Babysitter (Request)

Josh was peacefully sleeping until he woke up to the smell of smoke. He quickly jogged to the kitchen to see Tyler hiding in the corner of the kitchen while something on the stove was in flames. He quickly woke up all the way and found the fire extinguisher and put out the fire. He calmed down and looked over at Tyler who just smiled innocently at him. Josh cleaned up the mess Tyler made before speaking at the younger male.

"Tyler, If you want something to eat just wake me up. Don't try to cook by yourself" He said a bit bluntly not blunt enough to make Tyler upset.

" 'M Sorry" Tyler said softly before opening a cabinet and grabbing the cereal from the shelf. He walked into the living room and sat on the couch before turning on cartoons.

Josh sighed heavily before making something to eat for himself. After he finished his food, He checked on Tyler before going to get dressed. He finished getting dressed and walked out to see if Tyler was still doing the same thing and to no surprise, The brunette was still sat on the couch watching SpongeBob. He looked over at Tyler and waited for him to notice his presence.

"Tyler" He said loud enough so it was heard over the television, causing Tyler to pick up the remote and turn the volume down.

"Yes?" Tyler asked curiously turning his full attention to the purple haired male.

"C'mon, time to get ready for the day" Josh explained watching Tyler groan and shake his head before turning his attention back to the television.

"It's the weekend" He complained before turning the television back up so Josh could barely be heard, causing Josh to groan and walk over to the television turning it off.

"Tyler. Now" He said sternly before walking over to the other and holding out his hand.

Josh smiled as Tyler took his hand and lead him to his room before leaving and sitting in his room, Lately, he'd been having Tyler do simple things by himself but was always nearby if he needed help. Once Tyler was finished getting dressed, Josh explained to him that he had to work every day so he'd be hiring a babysitter to watch him. Tyler was immediately apprehensive but agreed after some bribing and convincing.

-skip time because I'm lazy-

Josh sat Tyler down on the couch and explained what timed he'd have a break and when he'd be home. Tyler stared at his lap but nodded at each explanation. He heard the doorbell go off and immediately pouted. Josh sighed softly before kissing Tyler's forehead and getting up from the couch. He explained everything about Tyler to the babysitter and said goodbye to Tyler.

"I'll see you after work" He said with a smile before hugging the smaller male tightly. Tyler immediately wrapped his arms around Josh's neck and wouldn't let go for a few moments. Once he finally did and Josh was able to move he said goodbye before leaving the house and going to work.

Tyler looked over at the babysitter and pouted crossing his arms and sitting on the couch where he and Josh were sat previously. He didn't want this stranger here, all he wanted was Josh.

Josh got back home after work was finished and unlocked the door, walking in to see Tyler sitting on the couch curled up. Josh was slightly concerned when Tyler didn't get up to greet him. He sighed before walking over to the small male and sitting next to him

"Ty? I'm home" He said softly and looked over at the brunette. Tyler yawned softly before immediately crawling onto Josh's lap. Josh smiled and held Tyler closely before picking him up and carrying him to his room.

"I'm Tired" Tyler whined softly though he realized Josh already knew, considering he was being carried to his room. Once Josh set him down on the bed and went to leave Tyler fought the urge to call him back. He got changed into his pajamas before going to bed.
