i imagine what you and i would be if we
were things rather than people
i think we would be the waves that crash
into the rocks baby
and it's because the way our bodies collide
into each other
it's the way my lips rush to yours when i
look into your eyes
but let's not forget about how
i always have to take a step back
to see your expression change
and at the end of the day when the tide
gets higher and the breeze cools everything down
things get rougher
dangerous
terrifying
and beautiful all at the same time
i think that describes us perfectly
