Taehyung looked at his hands in disbelief and observed the blood that was there. He soon diverted his attention back to Mai Fang and covered her mouth.

"Mai Fang, listen to me. We cannot stay here any longer."
"But what are we supposed to do? He's dead!"
"I know!" He said as he put his hands on his head.
"You killed him!"
"I know! I know! I know I did! But I did it for you!" She became silent. "I couldn't bare to watch you suffering anymore. I didn't want you to live like this anymore. I wanted to just be able to find Jungkook and live life knowing the you are happy!" He leaned against the wall. "Do you think I wanted any of this? I never wanted you to be departed from your family or anything. I just wanted to make sure the you were okay while Jungkook was gone.." He sighed and then looked back up at her. He placed his hands on her shoulders and stared directly into her eyes. "You must go, now."
"But Taehyung, what about-?"
"Forget everything. Even me, but you must listen closely. You must go and never return."
"Taehyung-!"
"You do not know me! Now go pack your clothes and live with Agust! Ijeneun! Ga!" He pushed her out the door and slammed it behind her. He looked around for a moment, thinking of what to do. But then he walked to the bathroom to wash his hands and afterwards, casually walked out of the room like nothing happened. He grabbed a change of clothes and a pair of scissors, then went back to the bathroom.
His hair was overgrown and made him look suspicious. His clothes were covered in blood. So he cut his hair and changed clothes, putting the old ones onto the body. Then he grabbed a screwdriver and stood in front of the garage, scraping the metal for hours until the police came. The whole thing was a buzz and hazy. The lights mixed together and then it all made sense.
Once Taehyung began to tell his story about he and Jungkook, it made sense why he would take on such a debt. Jungkook had found Taehyung at his worst. When he would be beaten constantly, starving and homeless. He took him in, cleaned him up as his career as an artist progresses and then had to leave. Something big was happening and he had to address it. He knew that Mai Fang couldn't handle herself and that Mai Wai wouldn't be willing to look out for her and Jin already had his hands tied with his job and watching over Mai Wai, so he asked Taehyung to watch over her until he got back. This agreement would put him in a place where he vowed never to be again.

I blinked and looked around. Suddenly, I back in the palace. I looked forward and confusion struck when he snapped his fingers and disappeared before my eyes again. I had no idea what to do or where to go and yet Nam Joon had told me to follow him.

How am I to follow a man that disappears whenever I get close to him?

I looked around the room before sighing. I might as well just explore the palace. Maybe then I will find him.

I wandered about the palace in awe of the many statues that stood perfectly and gracefully. There were many paintings on the wall and I was drawn to one..

The one with no image..

It had a frame, a golden frame, around it and nothing but a blank canvas was there.

I felt the room around me become filled with another atmosphere. It was a dark one. One I had never felt as strongly as this. I blinked and turned around. The place that I was in looked more like an abandoned wooden okiya. When I looked in front of me, there was another blank canvas in a more personal size that artists use. The thunder boomed and clapped as my breath quickened. Somehow, without truly knowing, I knew that this would be the beginning of a nightmare.

Not for me,

But for somebody else..

There was a picture in my hand and I looked down at it. I saw a reflection of  who I was in the picture. The man became terrified. Seeing his face on the canvas that seemed to paint itself was causing him to crazy and blur his vision. He had no idea what was happening or what to do. The thunder boomed as a splatter of scarlet appeared on the canvas and I could soon hear his thoughts, but they were unclear. The main words that I kept on hearing were, No! This cannot end this way! Please! As if begging for mercy of his life. This man was an artist..

A tortured one..

He clenched his fist, noticing that the picture was no longer there, but didn't bother to pick it up. His eyes were too focused on the thing that pestered his soul. He had known that his ambiguous mind would someday be back to haunt him and this time, it would overshadow him and his fears like never before. He blinked and saw the shattering glass, the pouring rain and the tears.. He could never forget the pain he felt as the picture set itself to flames. I couldn't help but think about what all of this could mean.

Why was everything a twisted riddle?

He admired the flames for a while before it turned into ashes and blew away. Then the room became dark and the picture had returned to his hand. His eyes gazed upon the new sketch that brought a new feeling that I cannot explain or fathom. But there was a shadow just as great as he had depicted in his mind that spread it's wings to cover him.

He closed his eyes and bent down to the ground. Once I opened my eyes, I relized that the scenery had completely changed to be something else. Something completely different. I was back in front of the golden frame with no image and there he was. Taehyung was leaning there against the wall on the far end on my right side, grinning at me with his arms and feet crossed. He began to walk slowly away from me backwards through this doorway that was glowing with gold and white. I felt myself begin to follow him. Once we went through there, I found myself alone in a dark room. It was blue, had a glass floor and only a pair of wooden double doors. I shook my head. This can't be it.. But one look around the room, I saw him with the black blindfold stuck between the doors, peacefully sitting there with Nam Joon or struggling to walk away from what was binding him.

The Blindfold in the doors..

I wanted to help him, so I went to the double doors and opened them. He disappeared with a grin and there he was on the balcony. Taehyung was now the one grinning at me as he sat facing the world. It was a beautiful scene. Colors splashed everywhere. Very detailed and yet, the moment was still stiff. Taehyung's grin was different. He turned his head towards the world and then leaned forward, pushing himself off of the balcony. I tried to run towards him to save him, but I didn't make it in time.
