Week 12: Eventful Wonderland

Day 1) Tears

Nana enjoyed her vacation. Luna gave the best massages, and they spent time with the kids, and it was so relaxing. They came back home and the weekend was similarly relaxing, as the teens were exhausted and no one wanted to do much of anything. As Nana cooked breakfast Luna walked up behind her. As Luna hid her face in Nana's soft brown hair, the house phone rang.

"Don't answer it Nana-chan. It's just the Heliopath." Luna mumbled. Nana's smile tensed at the mention of her ex. Husband. Why would he be calling her now?

"Will you wash the dishes Luna Love? I'll be right back." Nana asked as she dried her hands with a wash rag.

"M'kay" Luna tiredly agreed.

Nana walked over to the hallway where the house phone was kept. She watched it ring again before she picked it up and answered.

"Nana speaking,"

"Nana-chan! My beloved -" Nana held the phone away from her ear with a wince of disgust as her ex. Husband showered her with praise and plastic affection.

"Why are you calling?" Nana interrupted with a sigh.

"I'll be coming home next week!"

"....You're coming back?" She asked faintly, confusion and anger boiled in her heart as he rambled on, not really saying anything at all.

"That sounds wonderful." Nana interrupted him again before she hung up the phone. Nana let her hand fall away from the phone as she reminded herself to breathe. Now he comes back, Why now? Why not when I needed him most? Am I only a trophy? Her thoughts spiraled as she backed to the wall and slid to the floor. Her questions brought more questions, as she realized what Iemitsu Sawada coming back to Japan now, meant when he didn't come back then.

Nana didn't notice she had been crying until Luna came and sat next to her, hadn't noticed how lonely she had suddenly become until Luna's arms were wrapped around her shoulders. Nana hadn't noticed, but Luna did. Luna knew Nana needed her, so she was there.

Nana recovered from her emotional moment as Luna provided support. The day continued on as normal, the kids had breakfast, and went to school. Hadrian left for a two day trip to Italy with Reborn. Nana spent her alone time with Luna sitting on the couch. Cuddling as Nana decided it was time to talk about what had happened then. Luna knew, but Nana hadn't ever spoken of it. It's been four years, and I think I'm ready to begin healing instead of just living.

Hadrian started the trip to Italy by tracking down Skull. The stuntman was napping under a tree in a public park, and after having the stuntman drink the 'Mysterious Potion' and becoming a teenager for seven minutes, Hari and Reborn began following the compass until the potion wore off and the compass stopped working. Hadrian, who had been dragging Skull along so the compass would work, had Skull drink another potion and they continued on their quest. Skull was torn between elated at being tall again, and running away every time his seven minutes of freedom were up.

It was almost sunset when they found whatever it was Hadrian was looking for at an antique shop. Hadrian went in and bought the entire shop, bringing out only a nice box of rings.

"Two thirds down, one third left!" Hadrian cheerfully informed as he offered Skull another potion. Skull had turned tail and ran.

Day 2) Memories

Hadrian sat at a cafe with Reborn. He had spent the morning asking him to drink the 'Mysterious potion'. Reborn had spent his morning saying No.

"I'll tell you why Nana divorced Sawada if you drink the potion." Hari offered.
