Surprise

~4 months later~
Levi's POV

It has been 4 months since my beloved (Y/n) had to flee from HQ, the king has came here a few times looking for her.  We hid her files so he wouldn't find her, its as if she never even existed, i miss her. 
I have received a few letters from her, none recently though. I'm worried about her, I don't even know where she is. I lost my squad recently in an expedition, everyone but Eren and i died, I'm devastated. I wish (Y/n) was here to cheer me up, my little ray of sunshine. We found out that there is now a female titan, Armin is convinced its someone like Eren. Someone who can shift from human form to Titan form, i think he is probably right. He's a smart kid, like (Y/n).

Just as i was about to get up from bed i heard a knock at the door, "Come in!" I shouted as i sat up in bed. "Hey Levi!" Hanji shouted as she handed me a letter, "Its from (Y/n)" she said as she sat down next to me and handed me the letter. "Tch. Thanks Shitty-glasses" i said as i opened the letter, "No problem captain shorty!" She said as she left me to read the letter.  I rolled my eyes as she left and started to read the letter, it read:

Dearest Levi,

I should be returning to HQ pretty soon, you can come and find me in a cabin near the woods. It has Titans but i have managed to survive this long, i would really like to see you. I miss you! I hope you're doing well, i love you loads!❤️❤️❤️

I smiled as i read the letter, i felt a bit better knowing that she was coming home to me soon and that i now know where she is so i can visit her.
I put the letter on my bedside table and got up to take a shower.

~Time Skip~

After my shower i decided i was going to visit (Y/n) and take her back to HQ with me so i got my horse and my ODM Gear and headed to the woods, memories began to flood back as i saw some blood stains on the tree, poor Petra.....i got pulled out of my thoughts by screaming. It sounded like (Y/n), i picked up the pace to see what it was and i was right it was (Y/n) she was getting held at gun point by one of the kings guards. I got off my horse and approached them slowly, (Y/n)'s eyes lit up when she saw me. "Levi!" She shouted at me, the man turned around and pointed their gun at me and to my surprise the man was Niall. "Why are you doing this Niall" (Y/n) shouted at him, he rolled his eyes at her and kicked her in the jaw.  Anger boiled up inside of me, "Oi! Nobody does that to my girlfriend and gets away with it!" I shouted as i punched Niall in the nose, he was now unconscious. (Y/n) crawled over to me with tears in her stunning (e/c) eyes, "Its okay gorgeous, you're safe" i said as i held her tightly. She started crying, "I thought he was going to kill me" she said between tears. "Shhh baby its okay, I'd never let him do that" i said as i rubbed her back to comfort her. "I love you Levi" she said as she stopped crying and rubbed her eyes. "I love you too" i said as i let her go and kissed her forehead. "Lets go" i said as i put down the gun and helped her onto my horse, i got on after.

As i started riding away i heard some movement behind us, i ignored it then all of a sudden i heard the gun go off then i got a pain through the right side of my back, Niall shot me. My body became weak and I couldn't hold onto the horse anymore, my body went limp, "LEVI!" She screamed as i almost fell off the horse. She held onto me as she tried to get the reigns so she could ride back to HQ. "Levi? Stay with me baby please! Please don't leave me!" was the last thing i heard her say before everything went black.

(Y/n)'s POV
A 30 mins later at HQ

I arrived at HQ quicker than I expected but i was thankful that I arrived without bumping into any titans, as soon as I arrived i took Levi to the infirmary. They told me that they'd have to keep him in overnight to do some tests and stuff so I decided that i would stay until he woke up, i got myself a blanket and some hot chocolate from the cafeteria and sat down in a chair next to the small hospital bed. I looked over at his pale face, it should've been me who got shot, not him. I sighed as i buried my face in my hands trying my hardest not to cry but i failed, i soon heard a knock at the door. "Come in" i said as i sat up in the chair, the doctor came in with some results of Levi's tests. "Hello, I'm Doctor Wishire, are you Levi's wife?" He asked me as he approached the bed. I chuckled slightly and shook my head, "No no, I'm just his girlfriend" the Doctor nodded and smiled, "Okay, well his results are fine we just don't know when Levi will wake up, it shouldn't be too long since his injury isn't that bad, the bullet went right through but no organs were damaged" The doctor said as he smiled at me. "Okay thank you so much" i said as i smiled at him, he nodded then left.

I smiled once more at Levi, he looked so peaceful when he was asleep. I looked at the clock, it read 11:34pm. I wrapped the blanket around me more then decided that i would get some sleep too.

~9 hours later~

I woke up in me and Levi's bed, I turned around hoping he'd be there at the edge of the bed with his face facing in the pillow but nope, he was still in the infirmary. I looked over at the clock, it read 4:08am. I sighed and got up from bed and decided to go a walk around HQ and probably go into the infirmary, no one would be up so I decided just to go in my bra and panties (what I usually wear for going to bed) and put Levi's housecoat on over it so it wasn't too revealing.

I made my way around HQ and stopped at the infirmary, i walked to Levi's room, he was talking to someone. I put my ear next to the door so i could hear better, "Erwin please, i really want to marry her" my eyes widened as i heard Levi say those words. "I know you do but you need to wait until you are both 18, (Y/n) is 17 and she wont be 18 until later in the year, no kids until marriage. Just reminding you on that as i heard what you's were doing a few months ago" i blushed as i heard Erwin say this, soon the door was opened by Erwin himself and i landed flat on my face on the floor. Erwin laughed a little as Levi sat up in his bed to see me, "Oh hello (Y/n), its lovely to see you again. I'll leave you two alone, Levi i will come and see you after I've got a coffee. Bye" Erwin said as he stepped over me and left us. I got up quickly and shut the door, Levi smiled at me as I approached him. "I see you're wearing my housecoat" i nodded, "i missed you and it smells of your cologne so I decided I'd wear it...that and I'm only wearing my bra and pants so...yeah" i said as i looked down at the floor and blushed. A smirk soon formed on Levi's lips, "you know you can take my housecoat off now, i mean it is just you and me" he said as he tugged on the pieces of fabric that was covering my body. I nodded and took the housecoat off, Levi's eyes were practically bulging out of his head when he saw me. "you should dress like this more often, or better yet...just don't wear any clothes around me" i smirked at him and climbed onto the bed. "Shame you can't do anything to me because you're injured" i teased as i crawled over on top of him. His hand slid down my sides and onto my butt and he kissed my neck. "Mmmmhhh~ Levi not here" i moaned as he started kissing me rougher. "Its either this or you are getting fucked senseless when I'm better" he said as he started to play with my hair. "Why can't we just do both" i moaned, he smirked at me and nodded. "Thats an idea i vote on" we were soon interrupted by a knock at the door, i got up from Levi's bed and answered it, it was Erwin. "Hello Commander" i said as i saluted him, he smiled at me. "Hello (Y/n), its a pleasure seeing you again" i smiled and let him in, "Do you want me to leave you two alone" i said as i stood at the doorway. "No its fine but if you want to leave for a bit you can, I'll come and get you once i'm done here" i nodded, "Okay, bye Levi. I love you" i looked over to Levi's bed he at me. "I love you too" i smiled at him one last time before leaving them.

Levi's POV

"Okay, bye Levi. I love you" (Y/n) said as she smiled brightly, i smiled back at her. I watched her as she made her way out the door, her (h/c) hair swaying about as she walked. Erwin turned to face me, "Levi, unfortunately you wont be able to go on the next expedition so who would you like to fill in for you" he said as he looked at me with his crystal blue eyes. "Is (Y/n) able to go?" I asked him, he shook his head. "She will stay here with you, it would save you from worrying about her" i smiled at him, "thank you Erwin, it means a lot" he smiled back.  "But you know if someone becomes ill (Y/n) will have to take their place, even if it is one of our commanders" i nodded, "well Hanji isn't very well so if she becomes quite ill in the next 24 hours then she cant go and (Y/n) will need to go" i sighed and nodded once more. "Okay then, I'll go and get (Y/n)" he said as he left me by myself in my small room.

A few minutes later (Y/n) returned with a sad look on her face, "whats wrong beautiful" i asked as she slumped down on a seat next to my bed, she looked up at me and smiled slightly. "Just sad that you wont be coming on the next expedition with us, Erwin said that i have to go now because Hanji has taken unwell. She decided it would be a good idea to eat raw Titan meat" she giggled a little, "so I'll be fighting for you my love" she said a she took my hand and held it tightly. "I love you" i said as i squeezed her hand, "i love you too" she said back as she stood up, leaned over my bed and kissed me passionately. "You be safe out there" i said as we both pulled away, "I'll try Levi, I'll try"
