I finish putting the girls to sleep and kiss their foreheads. I walk to my moms room and see her watching Netflix. " Me and Gray are leaving and the girls are asleep. We'll be back later to pick them up." I say thinking about how she felt when I turned her down at the hospital.
" Ok I'll just be here watching TV." She says and I frown. She's been so lonely since dad died and I haven't been around a lot. "We're going out tomorrow afternoon for lunch and you will be going." I say and walk out of her room before she can answer.
"You ready to go?" Gray asks and I nod. We get in the car and he starts to drive towards our apartment. "Where are we going?" I ask and he laughs. "Home silly." He says and I fake laugh. "I meant where are we going for the date?" I say. "If I tell you it won't be a surprise now will it?" He asks and I punch his arm.
"When we get to the apartment I want to show you something. I hope you'll like it." He says. "I will like anything you get me." I say and he smiles.

Grayson walks in holding what looks like picture frames. He hands them to me and I almost start to cry, one of the pictures if of me when I was pregnant and the other was an ultrasound of the girls.

I hug him and we leave for the date. He tells me to keep my eyes shut and he parks the car. He gets out of the car and opens my door. I step out and he tells me to open my eyes. I gasp when I see the house that I was trying to buy, it was huge and fully finished.
He walked me around and showed me where everything was and me being me said. "Everything has to reorganized the way I want." I say and laugh. "Just kidding I love it!" I say and hug him. "The surprise is waiting for you." He says and holds out his hand, I grab it and he pulls me to a beautiful back yard.

He steps me over the pool and sits me on the couch. "I know I said I wanted to be alone with you but please don't get mad at me. This is our engagement party." He says and I almost choke on air. Balloons start falling from the ceiling and champagne bottles pop open. Everyone comes out and starts cheering. Time to get drunk off my ass
