A New Day

when I woke up mom was screaming.

"get out of my house, we don't want you here"

a dark voice answers her.

" we need to see your daughter."

mom replied "no, you will not see her."

everything was silent. then, mom screamed and four feet ran up the steps.

people were kicking down the doors

I made a decision to hide under the bed, my bed skirt to hide me.

they kicked down the door and I saw it crash to the floor. boots thundered across the hard wood flooring. I heard an man talk to another,

"Antonio, she is not here. should we leave?"

a call came from downstairs ( I guess Antonio was the guy talking to my mom)

" look everywhere."

"yes sir."

a black leather boot came close and a hand reached under the bed, he picked it up and saw me.

I turned

"she is hear I found her and she turned!"

I ran to the scanner I licked it and a door open I ran through. the door closed right behind me I ran as fast as I could I was home where I was born. as a leopard cub. I climbed in a tree I was safe, the scanner only worked for me and mom, only in out true form.
