Lily's POV (3 months later)
I don't think I could process what today was. Not until this morning.
My wedding day.
The day my friends, family and I had been planning for 3 months now.
When I woke up the sun shone through my windows. This is it. I said to myself. I got up out of my bed. I quickly swapped my charcoal shorts and oversize white "VAS HAPPENIN?" sweater for turquoise "jean" shorts and white lace tank top. I paired it with my black snapback and black converse. I headed to the bathroom quickly to wash my face and brush my teeth. I decided to put my Crest 3D Whitening strips on my teeth. :P
I grabbed my phone, purse and keys so I could head to the salon for Lou to do my makeup and hair. I turned on the ignition and pulled out of the driveway and drove to the salon.
When I got there, Lou was waiting with everything ready for me. As soon as I got in there, she ran up to me and wrapped me in a tight hug. "Congrats Babe!!!" she said in my ear. I pulled away. "Thank you." I said.
She sat me down on the big salon chair to do my hair. I showed her the picture of the hairstyle I wanted. She nodded and started the hairstyle. About 1 hour later, she was done. It looked stunning.
Now onto the makeup. Lou insisted I go a bit bold with the makeup. She thinly lined my eyelids with black liquid liner... which I never wear. Then put false lashes on my natural lashes. To blend the false and natural lashes, Lou put a bit more liner on, then put mascara on. After that, she put on foundation and very light powder over top to set it. She applied a pretty light pink lip stain with a bit of gloss and highlighted my face a bit. She then said, "DONE!" she squealed a bit. I stood up and looked at myself in awe. "I LOVE IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH LOU!!!" I screamed. Everyone in the salon looked at me. "Sorry." I barely spoke. I turned around and hugged Lou. "Now, go get in that gorgeous dress!" She told me. I ran to the room I was supposed to get changed in.
An assistant named Georgia brought my dress to the room after a few minutes. She smiled then asked, "Do you need some help to zip up the back?" I smiled, "Actually, yes. Please." I took my jeans and shirt off along with my socks. I slipped on the dress and motioned for Georgia to help. "You look so beautiful!" she gasped. "Thank you so much! I appreciate the help." I hugged her. She seemed like such a sweet girl. "I know this is last minute, Georgia. But would you like to come to the wedding?" I asked. She turned and the smile on her face was priceless. "Of course I would! Thank you. Just please let me get dressed." I smiled so wide, my cheeks hurt. I nodded. She left the room, I could see that she was fist pumping the air, she is so funny. She quickly ran off somewhere. Coming back with a beautiful dress. It was black, with silver jewels and sequins making up a 'sash'. "It's gorgeous!" I said to her. "Thank you. I bought it just in case a special occasion came up." she smiled. She sure seemed to love smiling. She went into the changing room beside mine and changed while I put my shoes on. When I came out she was standing there talking to my beautiful bridesmaids who all looked stunning.
They all stopped talking and looked at me and gasped. I got a whole bunch of "Gorgeous!" and "Beaut" and "Byotch! Why you gotta be so pretty?". I smiled. They all came at me and we "Group-hugged".
They stepped back and smiled big toothy grins. "I Love you guys, you know!" I said to them. Evelyn walked up to me and put a hand on my shoulder. "We all love you!" she said, earning a bunch of toothy grins again.
Kendra and the other girls took pics of me and then said, "SHOWTIME!" I took a deep breath and stepped onto the aisle with my dad's arm linked in mine.
