Chapter 4: Enemies

To be honest, I don't think I'm sleeping tonight. Master hand and Crazy hand, standing in front of us, IN HUMAN FORM?!?!
They looked at all four of us for a response but nothing was coming out. Even, Crazy was silent.
"Well then, are all of you okay?" We all just slowly nodded our heads, again afraid to say anything. "But hey! Why don't you guys sit down!? Don't worry we don't bite!" Crazy invited us. Again with cautious, we walked to the chairs, myself and Lily on the couch in the middle and Jake and Chris on the seats on the either sides of us. Master hand stared at us for a moment and I felt daggers through my brain. He studied each one of us and eventually straightened up on his chair. "Well I guess how rude of me, I suppose all of you must introduce yourselves. "
"Jake."
"Chris."
"Lily."
"C-Carter."
He smiled warmly at us and looked to his left seeing Crazy looking like he is about to explode. "Really Crazy do you need to go no-"
"YES."
"Alrighty then, hurry back, and also bring here the X-SB please." And without hesitation he ran out the door slamming it close when he left. Master hand gave out a big sigh and looked up back to us. We were all more tense.
"You four, if you don't mind me asking, where are all of you from?"
"Earth."
Master Hand POV
"Earth."
The one thing I was not hoping to hear. I kept my posture in a calm matter. Earthlings, they can't be, I can't stand to see these humans to be harmed, yet I don't want the smashers to be enraged at me or Crazy...
"Umm, Master Hand, if you don't mind me asking, where are we exactly," Jake asked. My thoughts were interrupted and stopped to a halt. I was hesitant to answer that question, but they look harmless, they deserve the truth. "You are in somewhere called the Smash Mansion," I said slowly. Their eyes slowly started to widen, should've kept my mouth shut...
"Wait, the Smash Mansion? What exactly do you mean the 'Smash Mansion'?"
"The Smash Mansion is the what makes this dimension the Smash Dimension," I started. "It is located in the middle of each dependent dimension, a crossing point if you will, but in the very center, is the Smash Mansion. A place where the strongest fighters, or at least worthy, join together to battle each other for a presentation of strength." I stopped to take a short breath, looking at each one of them as they all stare in complete awe. I would not blame them as well, if I was told I was in some foreign universe, I would be astounded. "So what fighters are we talking about here?"
"Well, there are the legends like Mario, Link, Pikachu, and Samus. As well as some strong, recent fighters like Lucina, Villager, and WiiFitTrainer."
Carter POV
WHAT?! SO HE MEANS THIS PLACE IS PRETTY MUCH SSB4?!
I widen my eyes and I felt Lily tense up next to me. We are literally in the same building with some of video games' most iconic characters...
I was about to faint until Master Hand continued. "As I said, this dimension is a crossing point for most dependent dimensions, but not for Earth..."
"What?" We all said simultaneously.
"Let me explain, Earth and your dimension as a whole is far, far from here it would be deemed impossible to reach their and invite people here."
"And yet were here."
"Exactly, but here is the depressing part. You are not exactly welcomed here..."
HUH?!?!?!?!
3rd Person POV
The four stared in utter shock. Baffled by the fact they are not even supposed to be here, or welcomed in the first place.

"What do you mean 'we're not welcomed'?!" Jake exclaimed still sitting down. All of them were terrified by Master Hand's response. "Now calm down please, there is a perfect explanation to this."

"Perfect explanation my ass," Carter grumbled silently. "You see the thing is we as the headmasters of the Smash Mansion, both Crazy and I try to make this a living space suitable for our smashers. Trying to cause as less violence as possible outside of the battle grounds. The thing is humans like yourselves have been the ones ruining it."

"Ruining it? I mean I could see someone running around this place and accidently breaking something, but not completely ruining it," Lily said unsure. "Well you would be surprised. Multiple humans have came across this dimension on several occassions roughly around the same reasons you did. However, many of them caused havoc around the Mansion, from breaking things to messing with the smashers' appearances all the way to going into smasher restricted areas." All of them were astounded by what Master Hand just laid out for them. Knowing what their human race has done for them was humiliating. "Well I guess speaking for all us humans, we don't mean to do all this damage, it's just this world is incredibly different from ours," Chris confessed.

"Yes I understand that deeply, me and Crazy both do. We try our hardest to reassure that humans are not our enemies but our allies from a distant. But these smashers think otherwise."

''So any human that comes to this dimension is instantly banned?"

"Yes Lily, we unfortunely had to banish several humans back to Earth beacause of the smashers' demands. However, not without erasing their memories of this place, we don't them spreading rumors about this place," he chuckled dryly. "So what's going to happen to us?" Carter said with a worrysome voice. "Well it's really up to you, but I think it would be a splendid idea if you would stay!"

"WHAT?!?!?!"

"But wasn't it you who just said smashers despise like us? Why would you want us to stay?" Jake questioned. "Because I feel like you would be a perfect defendant for your race. You see, me and Crazy have been trying to convince them that humans are not as bad as they seem, but again they won't accept any humans. So I was thinking if you were to live here, not only will experience something loke nothing before but maybe convince them that humans aren't that bad."

"But what about this?" Chris said gesturing towards towards themselves. "That can be fixed easily, we'll disguise you guys to seem like newcomers."

"But what about back home? We all had some pretty big plans tomorro," Carter urged. "Well that can be fixed too, we will alter time here so you spend more time here, but actually you don't waste any time back on Earth."

Baffled by what the the Headmaster could do, they agreed almost immediatly . "Wonderful! My biggest thanks to you for agreeing, I understand this a big challenge for all of you, now to call back Cra-"

"HEY BROTHER I'M BACK WITH X-SB!!!!! NOW WHAT DO YOU EXACTLY WANT IT FOR?!?!"

"Nevermind..."
