I stumbled slowly to my feet where I saw only sand for miles and miles. The Taliban had taken everything during the time I was blacked out, I didn't even have a radio for communication. If my map was correct I was thirty miles behind enemy lines. If I was gonna get out of this alive, I was gonna have to fight. I decided to rest the remainder of the day and continue in the morning.
