     After over a month of fighting, we finally liberated Musil for the second time. It was a grueling struggle that saw the loss of over 2,000 Marines and even more Taliban. Although we had significant losses, we knew we had to push on. The wild deserts of Northern Afghanistan we're crawling with a combination of Taliban and Al Quaeda infantry men. We had to push them back.

     We began the march to the North less than an hour after securing Musil, and we were ready for a fight.

     We arrived in Northern Afghanistan two hours later. Both sides were Evey matched with around 1,500 men on both sides of the battle. We would launch our assault the following morning.
