Chapter 4- Stunded

Alexa pov

After what seemed to be an eternity of me staring at this person, who's name is Sawyer I think, I look up to see everyone staring at me.

"Did what I think just happen, happen?" Alice said jumping up and down

"If so I get to plan the weeding!!" She squeled

I looked at Seth who seemed both hurt and confused about what happened. Jacob looked like he was glad I now had this special bond with someone. And Leah looked dissapointed and mad about my imprinting. I know it has to be hard for her because she has not found her imprint yet.

"Will someone explain to me what just happened?" Sawyer asked

Everyone looked around at each other as if mentally saying "Im not going to do it"

Finally Leah spoke up. "She just claimed you and now you two are going to be together forever" she said sarcastically

"What!?" Sawyer said sounding upset

"I came her expecting to lay low for a little bit, only to have some dog think she can claim me!? I'm out of here."

And with that he sped off into the woods leaving the pack and the Cullens standing there with their mouths open, wondering what just happened.

I stood there unable to move...frozen and in pain. After processing what he said and playing it over in my head I noticed everyone looking at me as if to see how I was going to react. "I have to act as if I'm not hurt so they wouldn't all worry about me." I thought to myself. So I held back the tears, turned in the opposite direction Sawyer went, pushed my shoulders back, stood tall and proud and took off running as fast as I could.
