A New Begining

Chapter 3 Here at Last

Alexa POV:

Things were working perfectly so far. Edward had told the Cullens that they were needed in La Push for something urgent, and had saved me the trouble of having to lead them there myself. I totally owe him after this, especially if anyone gets mad at him for helping me. From my hiding place in the woods, I see a flash of color go by and know that they are on there way to see what the urgent message was about. It's now or never, I guess.

As I transform into my wolf form, I cant help but remember the last and only time I had transformed here. Running and feeling so stupid for telling them I was a wolf that way. Part of me wants to turn and leave, but I need to show everyone that I am brave and want to be part of this pack.

Of course I remember the way to Jake's house where I knew they would all be. As I arrive and watch them from behind a tree I can't help but notice how the guys have all aged. Jacob looks like he has been very happy and has found his imprint, Sam is looking old as usual, Leah still has that sour look on her face which looks like she won't be too happy to see me, Seth is no where to bee seen which will make this fun for me. Bella...looks breath taking, it looks as though she were never human.

Okay you can't chicken out now. On the count of three come out of your hiding place. One...Two...Three!

I get weird glances as no one else is in wolf form except me.

"What are you doing Seth? Get in human form so we can all talk. Stop messing around!" Leah said

I shook my head no.

Just then Seth came out of the house with a bowl of something in his hand and was clearly knocked off guard when he saw me. As every one's eyes shifted from me to Seth and they quickly saw I was not him, they trasformed and looked about ready to bite my head off. I had planned for this to happen so I rolled on my back and pretended to be a dog wanting its belly scratched. At this point everyone look confused, even Edward. I then quickly got back on my feet and with them still watching crouched down like I wanted to play. I had one last thing I wanted Edward to do to show them that I was a friend.

"Hey Edward, pat me on the head like a little dog and I will so owe you one", I thought.

When he didn't do it I tried asking him again.

"Please!!!!! It would really tie this whole thin-"

Just then I was on my back with Jacob on top of me. I pushed him off only to have Leah back me up aginst a tree.

"Who are you and what are you doing on this land?" I heard Carlisle ask.

I motioned to my clothes that lay next to the tree I was up against and he understood what I wanted.

"We will allow you to change back into human form, but don't try anything, if you do we will not hold back from hurting you." He stated.

I picked up my clothes with my mouth and went a few yards away behind a huge tree. As I changed back I felt all eyes on me through the tree. I stepped out with my back to the group and herd the sounds of the wolves voices as I assumed they too had changed back.When I was within 6 yards of the group I turned and showed them my face. They all looked confused at first, then Bella was the first to speak up.

"Alexa, is that you?" She asked.

"Hi Bella, long time no see, huh?" I said quietly.

She looked at me as if she were seeing a ghost or a hologram. I could tell she did not think I was real, and who could really blame​ her for that? I did disappear quickly and work to cover my tracks when I first left. Alice was the first person to pull me into a big hug.

"Don't ever do that again! You hear me? We have all been worrying about you since you left! But I'm still glad your back." She said.

Jacob came forward next.

"Stand back Alice, if it really is you, then prove it. We can't take any chances, it's been too quiet lately for this to be true." He stated while walking slowly towards Alice and I.

I held up my wrist showing the birthmark that looked like a wolf that Seth and I shared.

"Is this the proof you needed, or am I going to have to have something better?" I ask.

"That's all the proof I need." Seth said stepping infront of Jacob.

"Seth, I'm so sorry about everything I have done, can you ever forgive me?"

His huge hug was all I needed to know that I had gotten my brother back after all this time. I also knew that no matter what, we were never going to be separated again.

"Ahem." Someone cleared their throat.

"There's still the issue of the whole lying about being a wolf thing." Leah stated.

"Oh Leah, it's nice to see you too." I say sarcastically.

"I can't believe it's really you..." Bella said from behind the crowd.

"I never thought I would see you again, I always dreamed it, but I didn't ever think it was going to happen." she stated.

"Bella, I have missed you more than you could have ever known. I thought about all of you for the past five years, day and night. I wished I could have stayed and told you about the wolf thing under different circumstances, but things did not work out that way. Leah, I'm so sorry about the fight we had, I hope you can forgive me and we can be sisters, or at least friends." I said.

Just then a tall vampire came out from behind the trees with his hair covering his face.

"Sawyer, I thought we asked you to stay at the house, just until we knew it was safe." Esme scolded.

Just then he moved his hair from his face and I saw the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. His face was perfect, his emerald eyes, his perfect nose and his slim mouth. I could tell his world was now my world. And my world was his.

We were one.

I have found my imprint.
