Destiny's Pov

As my friends helped me pack my necessities, the boys told us more information about themselves.

'That's so cool, they're apart of a famous band!' Chloe says through mind-link.

'Eh, I wondering why they wanted to adopt children' Teagan says through mind-link.

'We have to be cautious around them; we can't have them finding out we're werewolves,' I say through mind-link.

"Someone's coming," I say as I hear footsteps approaching the door.

About a two minutes later, Miss. Wilson cracks the door open and peers in.

"Just checking up on the kiddies. I also advise you young men to take your leave as it is almost their curfew."

I hear the emerald-eyed curly, brown-haired boy huff in annoyance.

I finish packing my things as the boys leave. I help Jake finish his packing off and then tuck myself in. I close my eyes as I am washed over with sleepiness and fatigue. Soon I'm drifting off into my dreamless slumber.

The next morning, I was expected to attend a local school while the boys picked up our bags and put them in their house. I'm not a morning person, so everyone usually knows to not bother me unless they want their head bit off.

After I finally felt ready to move around, I arose sleepily from my messy bed, slipping out of the covers to stretch my aching limbs. I rub my eyes in an attempt to rid the morning drowsiness. I tiredly scratch my head and sluggishly trudge to my small suitcase which I packed my items in. I tug out a loose, black crop top, a black tank-top, white, ripped skinny jeans, and my undergarments.

I saunter towards the narrow, wooden entrance of the room's bathroom.

I turn on the shower and strip as I patiently wait for the water to heat up.

As the temperature was perfect to my liking, I stepped into the flowing water, letting the liquid wash away my drowsiness.

-skip of le time-

I wrapped the towel around my small frame as I stepped onto the plush shower mat, right outside the tub. I quickly dried myself then slipped into my clothing of choice. I walked out, my hair wrapped in a towel, and slid my socks onto my feet and put my black, high-top converse on.

I was slightly nervous, for it was my first day of school. School had always scared me; it was a treacherous institute where well-known girls, the populars, whores, and etc, pick on the quieter more outcast girls.

I was just slightly nervous for today and was probably exaggerating; we can't know until we actually do it.

"Destiny?"

A soft knock comes from my door and I look up to see who had bother me at this time of morning.

"Come in," I say quietly.

The figure walks in, and in comes Harry. Harry had similar features as me; I didn't know why, but maybe we're like cousins or something. But that wouldn't explain why my parents got rid of me instead of calling my cousin to adopt me or something. Well, he's here now so I guess that's all that matters.

"Breakfast is ready, so hurry up and eat because we're leaving at 7:45."

He then walks out.

I stared at my sea foam green walls intently, not hearing Jake as he comes through the door to pester me or something.

"Destiny?"

I hum lightly before responding.

"Yes, Jake?"

"Nothing, you just seem to be in serious thought, so I panicked thinking it was the end of the world or something," he replies jokingly.

"Ha ha ha, very funny," I say in a bland tone.

"No, but seriously, is there something troubling you?"

I sigh before fluffing my hair.

"No, it's just..." I pause.

"I miss the others. I wish they could be with me right now, going to school with me, living with us in this huge mansion-like thing," I say sadly.

He sits on my bed and pulls me into a hug.

I inhale his scent which was a forest-like smell that instantly calmed my nerves.

"You done sniffing me?"

He laughs as I became a beet red.

"Sh-shut up," I stutter, abashed about how is joke embarrassed me.

"Awww look, Miss. Alpha female is embarrassed," he jokes softly.

I glance at the time and my eyes widen.

"Shit, you dumbass we're going to be late!"

It was 7:52, and Harry was not pleased on their performance of getting ready for school today. The two adolescents stumble down the stairs and rush over to Harry.

"I'm sorry, dad!" Destiny rushes, accidentally calling him 'Dad' instead of 'Harry'.

A grin spreads on Harry's face as a light pink is evident on his tanned cheeks.

"Don't worry, kiddo. It's only your first day," he says while ruffling up the young children's hair.

When Destiny and Jake arrived at school, she instantly had a surge of anxiety. Her breathing became slightly heavier which Jake took into account.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked slightly worried for his Alpha.

She didn't respond. She glared at the girl's who were saying rude things about her and her friend (Jake).

"Y-yeah, just peachy."

Destiny's throat cracked slightly as the girls' words stabbed at her skin. Her throat begin tightening and she could feel the pool of tears forming in her eyes.

Suddenly, a loud voice rang out through the crowd, yelling at the gossiping girls.

"HEY SKANKS, if you have a problem with someone, why don't you actually tell it to the person you're talking about."

Destiny recognized the all-to-familiar voice of Teagan. She turns around and throws her arms around the ginger, earning a muffled shriek to emit from the girl.

"Are the others here?!"

Destiny is jumping with delight as Teagan explained that three of them, Teagan, Ashton and Chloe, were adopted while the other two, Josh and Emily, were waiting to be adopted.

"According to Miss. Trollface, there was some girl named Perrie Edwards who wanted to adopt them!"
