Chapter 3 HIstory For Owls

Reedpaw piers up at a large tree, standing on two legs as she points with her paw, "what is that?" she mewed.

Wolfpaw tilts his head as he looks up from what she is pointing at, "what is what?" he traced down her stare and saw nothing, "I dont see anything moving?"

Reedpaw lashed her small tail "not that?" she point her tail at a bark tree, "something is odd about it" she breaks from the group and waddles up to the large tree, her paws are short, scalepaw thought as Wolfpaw gave an expression at him saying, told ya so.

Scalepaw lashed his tail at him,"quit it" he spoke quietly, "Reedpaw dont wonder so far" he follows her trail up on the tree and saw Reedpaw gazing up at it.

"But its huge!" she places her paw on the branch, claws open, it was a rough out edge of a giant claw mark, "were did this come from?"

"Wow what is that!" Wolfpaw jumps out almost landing on top of Reedpaw.

Reedpaw pushed him aside, "Watch it!" she hissed

Wolfpaw growled, "you watch it!" he looks over at the claw mark on the tree as Darkspirit and Sunshine make their way up, slowly. "So this is what you have been staring at? At first I thought you were going nuts like Bondleaf" he laughed.

"Why you!" she barroled over him and they wrestled away from the claw mark. Scalepaw jumps up to the root that stuck out, making it easier to see the markings that made it.

"You guys?" he turned his head and notice they were too occupied by their rivalry, then he turned his head back and tilts his head. "it looks so familiar..." he leans closer and could sense something from it, suddenly things went quiet all around him and from the faintest winds he thought he could hear a very...very light voice. 

 What is this feeling, its like its calling to me...hello who are you-, as soon as he placed his paw on the mark, things went into a bang of images, flashes about the past and, roaring blood raging through this forest. Stone...who was Stone; A goliath cat?... Ashclaw...Teatherclaw! My father?!..Iceshade?...what is this what is all this, were am I. He digs his claws into the wood, suddenly their was a stop, a pale of grey dust sweeped from the darkness as the dawn risen showing red sand... and through that sand was a hint of blood, the sand was made of blood!...

"This is only the beginning, but the end will be closer, unless you can find the missing clan members" what was that?... Clan members, "other worlds will be part of this, you cannot deny what awaits your clanmates" suddenly their was a flash and the whole area was covered in cats, dead, some torn apart, I stood their in horror, watching as some of them were still alive but too hurt to live through their last breath. Get me out of here!, he yowled but nothing came as at the end of a hill of what looks like a giant shiney cold ground of stone stood Six cats, one of them stood forward, "beware of this one to your friends.." he stood over a moving body, crawled up to him and gave out a sort wail. The dawn sun drowned out his appearance, but his claws were extended to an unatural state. Ahhh! Let go!

"You have a destiny to send out a message to the clans, you may be the few who will gve us our final hope" it was a frail voice but for that second it sounded like a she-cat. When I stared back out in horror, the long nailed cat raised out his claws and slashed him open like he was just useless prey. Then everything went to darkness and I finally got my claw hole off the wooden bark. Rolling twice away and panting.

"Scalepaw are you okay!" Sunshine swept by my side and looked at my eyes, still shock from the visions. Wolfpaw and Reedpaw stopped fighting and looked at me.

"Scalepaw whats up?" Darkspirit looked at him serously, but I shook my head and stared back at him.

"It was nothing...but what is this?" Darkspirit didnt stop his gaze at him, but then looks up at the claw mark and gives out a short growl.

Sunshine looks up at the large claw mark, her eyes widdened, "wow that was a long time ago, cant beleive I haven't placed my eyes on this", she looks up at the clawmark and jumps up at the root, "wow Scalepaw you must have a strong hold of things, theirs a deep hold at the side of this claw mark" she scratches around it and looks at the top. "this must be how he made his boundary, or maybe it was when he missed a shot and smashed against this tree" she jumps back down and regroups with the others.

Wolfpaw shook his head, supressing a growl, "sorry but who is 'it?' " Wolfpaw interupted, being nudged by his sister.

"Stop being so rude Wolfpaw" she nudged again as Wolfpaw nudged back.

"Stone..." they all looked at Scalepaw and for a moment he looked like he was just staring at nothing, "A leapard cat, seven times our scale, who clashed a war against Dust and our own clan, was on the threat to our devistation" he looks at the crowed like something else was tugging at his voice, "a warning, yes their was a warning about this" he told them as he points at the claw mark, "Legend to tell for the Stone to rise from hell, it was a story, no a legend that killed maybe a half dozen cats... a cold killer at best...but" he stood to the side, Reedpaw and Wolfpaw looked at him in astonishment.

Reedpaw tirled her head at Wolfpaw, "I swear to starclan I have never seen him talk this much" she  whispered.

"And their is more" he was beginning to halucinate a bit, "a plot, yes their...their is a missing plot to this..a cat...several cats.... smart,  unaturally a cat with long claws and sharp teeth and...and" suddenly Darkspirit pounced him over, giving an annoyed look.

"Thats enough out of you, the elders have been giving you too many stories, and yet you make up nightmares" he lets go and Scalepaw shook his head looking around.

"Nightmars about what?" he asked as Reedpaw jumps in excited.

"Scalepaw you have got to fill me in on that story, that was so cool!" Scalepaw tilted his head in confusion, "come on who told you, Ashclaw?"

Thena voice broke into his mind, yes it was ashclaw...he knew everything, he felt a bit controled, "Umm yeah it was Ashclaw, he told me everything" for a moment he thought another voice was taking over, then backed away and shook his head a bit.

"Wow and what about dad? He might now another side to it, uhh  the missing plot you said...investigation on the way yes" she laughed and jumps around.

Wolfpaw gave out a yawn, "honestly can we just go home now, Im about to fall flat on my stomach hearing about your curiosity..."

Reedpaw huffed her cheeks, "at least he had interest, common Wolfpaw don't you want to find out too?" she pleaded, but Wolfpaw shook his head.

"Meh Id rather eat crowfood, history is for the owls" Sunshine cuffed him by the head.

"Be nice to your sister, but he is right its getting late, lets go" she lead us on as the sun began to fall into a red dawn.

Reedpaw scurried with her light paws, yowling in worry, "W-wait what about our apprenticeship accessment?!" she mewwed to Sunshine.

Darkspirit kept his gaze on Scalepaw hearing him whisper, Stone to rise from hell, the stone to rise from hell..what does it mean, the Severing,...

Phew I am so sorry this has not been update so much, I will be sure to make more out of this, alot of it has been complete just got a bit of a slowdown due to the contest I am runnning from Deviantart!

But I am working and progress is still active, I shall not give up!
